Well, I certainly have learned my lesson from entering these threads before the show even airs. Thanks, good to know those spoiler tags are going to waste! Not everybody watches the promos. *sigh*

I am stunned that people think the return of Dean Winters is a spoiler... it's not like we're talking about Lost here or something. I love 30 Rock more than most people, but knowing ahead of time that Dennis is back doesn't diminish my enjoyment of it...

Spoiler????

I'm sorry but I've always thought spoilers used in the first post in these TV threads is stupid anyway. I've yet to read anything in them that wasn't already broadcast on TV numerous times over the previous week. Now, if there's some twist, cameo, or some other surprise then I can understand using spoiler tags.

Besides, it's 30 minute sitcom. How much can be spoiled?

My point was the description of the episode was hidden with spoiler tags, a point undone immediately by spoiling the information within those tags.

Also, I'd rate an appearance by the "Beeper King" as a "cameo" or "surprise", at least to people who aren't glued to their sets constantly or (like me) live in Canada and aren't exposed to NBC promos.

At any rate, I'm not upset by the spoiling, I was merely pointing out the ironic juxtapositioning of spoiler tags and spoiler info.

I never watch anything live anymore, its all TiVo, and I don't watch anything on TV unless its on a new channel or a premium movie channel. I don't watch the commercials or promos for any show, ever. And the return, cameo, whatever, of a guest star (who also played my personal favorite recurring character on another series) on 30 Rock is something I would like to be surprised by. Call me crazy.

^You were surprised, just a few hours earlier than you wanted to be.

I'm definitely more excited about the cameo by
Spoiler:
THE STANLEY CUP!!!!!
Wicked.

"We used to call this the Jew room."

Elizabeth Cogworthy Lemon!

Ok, well that's not my middle name.

"Richard Nixon"

"If you wanted to do something alone with another man, it wasn't gay. Just two men enjoying each others strength."

"BLACK PEOPLE, DON'T VOTE, DON'T DO IT!"

This episode is on fire.

Really? Haha. That's awesome. It brings the picture of Liz eating them and thinking about it to a whole new level. Oh, I love this show.

I like how Alec Baldwin dressed up like Nixon looked exactly like Daniel Baldwin.

^It really did! Very funny episode. My favourite bit (paraphrased because I can't exactly remember) was

Jack: Dennis is out, we're going with the hero bird now. He dialed 911 and said 'Fire'...only because he didn't know the word 'rape'.

Awesome episode. Dean Winters is a jack of all trades. And he had the best line:

"I would like to accept this on behalf...Stern Rules! Bababooie!"

Also how can you not love Alec as Nixon? Who played Sammie Davis?

Thought the slam on "Rescue Me" was kinda funny (when Dennis revealed he flunked the fireman exam).

I laughed when he said the exam was biased against the Irish

This episode was a non-stop barrage of comedy. I stopped keeping track of all the good stuff about 5 minutes in.
