See and THAT is the stuff. The tiny details. I will certainly go back and watch this episode again.

So why do they keep Jane Krakowski in the opening title credits when she's never on she show?

I don't think it's the writers. I think it really is the direction. Just seemed sloppy. Maybe they had less time to work on the actual taping?

I hope we return to form next week.

The piggy-back race on the monitor in the background of one of the scenes was cracking me up!
Isnt that the point that 30 Rock is trying to make that people would actually watch a show like MILF Island when much better scripted entertainment is on?

Funny episode. When the show started with a ad for MILF Island, I thought it was a real show.

First off MILF Island has to be the single greatest show idea ever!

As far as this episode goes, it was different but it worked. My favorite part was at the end with Liz and Jack...the stuttering was great and the quick shot of her pigeoned toe foot was great.

Agreed the directing or shooting style or timing was just, off, somewhat. Plus Liz was just really pissed the entire ep.

"Odd, I didn't know it was hot in Assholevania."

I think the change in style was deliberate -- to make it tie in directly with MILF Island and seem more like a reality show.

I loved the cutaways to the fart machine sketch while Liz was defending her writing as art.

Great return to the best comedy on TV, imo.

Plenty of laughs last night.

I like when Liz is describing her feet braces and her attaching head gear and Jack says: "Gilly chewed through his . . ."

Good thing for DVRs...I forgot a new episode was here.

Liz and Deborah's synchronized "I didn't come here to make friends, I came here to win!" was hilarious.

Episode was great though.

I agree 100%, I liked it but something was off. Same went for my take on The Office it was funny but also didn't seem right but I can't pinpoint what it was.

Glad to have 30 Rock back again.

I thought it was hilarious when Pete got the 4 digits dialed and it was his extension. Especially after he threw his cell phone for one of the numbers.

I thought he threw shoe, wallet, watch, ring... still, I laughed my ass off when he got his own extension.

At first I thought it was a cell phone but when I watched it again I realized it was his watch.

Y'know, I think you're right.

They shot the 30 Rock stuff the same way they shot the MILF Island scenes: dark, overdramatic and almost deliberately sloppy in that reality show kinda way.

Yep, I noticed that was what they were doing right away. I'm surprised everyone didn't pick up on that.

I loved when they were giving a dramatic speech about never giving up and they show Pete dragging the candy machine across the room.

And when he takes his shirt off but doesn't get his arm out.

It thought the joke there was how the hell did he get his shirt off with his arm still in the machine.

It was...and it's making me laugh just thinking about it.
