Good ep. I always liked Firestorm.

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
In two weeks, Batman teams up with the Phantom Stranger, voiced by none other than Kevin Conroy!

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
Kevon Conroy is also guest starring on this week's episode as.... Batman!

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
Cartoon Network for some mysterious reason decided to delay new episodes until late March.
Also been a rumor going around the internet that it has been renew for another 13 episodes. If true that would up the total number episodes to 65. |
Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
anyone catch the one from friday? one of the ones they bumped from last month. was a kickass episode. bats goes to another planet where there is a batman (voiced by kevin conroy) and he is fighting his nemesis rohtul (voiced by clancy brown). bats gets all kinds of special powers like superman due to the atmosphere. liked it.

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
I'm watching it now. seems like about a minute was cut off in the beginning.
plus I recorded on the hd channel and it looks like they forgot to flip the hd button, as it's stretched and has bars on the top and bottom. Oh, now I see it was just like that in the opening sequence. |
Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
I thought it was pretty good episodes. Basically puts batman in superman's place. Canada is ahead by two episodes. One is about Captain Marvel and the other the making of Batman which is great.

Off to CN's shitty site... I checked for coming friday and it's the same thing, so had to set it to record manually. |
Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
it's because they were scheduled to air last month, so DirecTV picks them up as old episodes and won't record them. i had to manually set it too.
|
Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
Hmmm, they only have repeats on their shitty site.
|
Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
I don't know. I think their site is ok. The show looks about the same to me as it does on tv.

The show is fine. But I hate the layout of the site and the fact that only 2 eps are ever featured. No big deal but it's how I feel. |
Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
My DirecTV DVR totally missed this as well.
I just checked the DirecTV iPhone app and it doesn't look like it's aired again this week. :( |
Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
Nice to hear the GREATEST Batman of them all, Kevin Conroy voice the Batman of Zur-En-Arrh.
The opener with the Metal Men was also fun. All the MM had something to do in a short amount of time. Plus Bats appears as "Matches Malone". |

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
The CHILL OF THE NIGHT episode was Fabs.
Well written by Paul Dini. Love all the flashback scenes with: the Murder of the Waynes, Lew Moxon, Young Bruce making a vow, and the custome party where Thomas Wayne wears a Bat custome. Love the entertance by The Spectre. Glowing Skull appears then his face and body fade into view. COOL!!! Excellent voice work by the guests. Adam West as Thomas Wayne. Julie Newmar as Martha Wayne. Kevin Conroy as The Phantom Stranger. Mark Hamill as The Spectre. Richard Moll as Moxon and Two-Face. Special mention to Mr. Bader. He was awesome. He played all his scenes just right. Solid 'A+' |
Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
The Chill of the Night episode seemed more like an episode of the original Batman:The Animated Series and less like an episode of Brave and the Bold (which is not a bad thing)

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
The main story with Grodd was a DUD. 'C-'
Although it was nice seeing Detective Chimp and B'wana Beast again. And Vixen makes her first appearance. But I just didn't buy into her romanace with B'wana. The Gorilla Boss of Gotham City was working with Grodd. And Killer Moth tries to rob a Jewerly Store. The Opener was FABS. A+ Batman and The Spectre track down and Capture Prof. Milo. After Bats leaves The Spectre returns to deliver his brand of Justice, 1970's style. COOL!!! |
Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
Apparently, the third season will be the last
Brave and the Bold Third Season to Be the Last! It was announced at the San Diego Comic-Con that the third season of Batman: the Brave and the Bold will be the last. The show, which when first announced was met with a backlash of naysayers, has developed an incredible fanbase, due to clever writing, fun stories, plenty of action and guest stars galore! Many were saddened by the news, but perked up when produced James Tucker hinted that he is working on an all-new Batman cartoon, this time in CGI and much darker and more serious than Brave and the Bold. The remaining 13 episodes of season two will begin in September, with the 13-episode third season to air in 2011. This will bring the total number of episodes to 65, which is a very respectable number for a cartoon series these days, especially for one on Cartoon Network. It was revealed that there will be even more new guest stars in the new season, including Superman, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, and Vicky Vale, as well as the return of Robin and Batmite! Plus, Andrea Romano let it slip that Batman will be teaming up with Scooby-Doo and the gang! This is yet another throw back to Batman's obscure past as the Dynamic Duo teamed up with Mystery Inc. in two episodes of The New Scooby-Doo Movies in 1972! Here's Romano with the news: |
Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
Wow, that's too bad. But with Young Justice on the way i won't miss the TBaTB much. It was a good show but I'm ready for a new animation style and a more serious tone.
