18? They only do 22 episodes. Might as well do the whole season.

True. However, I wonder if that'll boost him in the cast as "special guest star" or an "and" in the opening like John Glover and Annette O'Toole got. I mean with 18 episodes that still puts him well above the episodes averages of Jimmy, Lois or Kara this season...

Wrap up Lana's storyline?

She's in a Brainiac coma. That's wrapped up enough for me.

What he means by taking 1/3rd of the season to wrap up the Lana storyline is that they are going to take 7.33 episodes and kill her over and over and over. Just like Groundhog day.

Her and Clark have absolutely no on-screen chemistry together.
That's an easy fix. All we need is the magical Jor-El beam of fixedness. We can aim it at everyone Clark has ever known. You could even aim it at Chloe and convince her that she's Lois.

Easy peasy.

I think they have done the Lex storyline to death. As much as I like Rosenbaum, Lex is just going through the motions at this point.
I saw if they are going to do away with Lana, then send her off and don't look back.
