Good job by Eric saving himself!

Poverty calling that one dude a loser was pretty classy, but not unexpected from her.

Next week looks hilarious.

I was shocked to see Ami leave, but Eric did a good job of campaigning to save himself. Next week looks awesome to see Jason thinks he has the hidden immunity idol. That hurt seeing James opening the beer bottles with his teeth.

I'm surprised Ami didn't have a heart-to-heart with Ozzy before Tribal Council, but then again, Ami played with fire in the beginning, and gave Erik just enough ammo to plant enough doubt in Ozzy's head to seal her ouster from the game.

I hated Ami the first time she was on Survivor, and I hated her just as much this time around.

How on earth is voting out Cirie not even considered by these dolts? I'll miss Ami.

In all my years of drinking beer and seeing people drink beer, I've never seen anyone open a bottled beer with their teeth, and to do it with such ease.

I'm amazed that it was a no-name pizza - I would have figured on a Pizza Hut or Dominos promo there.

After Eliza leaves, the only fun I'll have watching Survivor will be watching whichever 4 of James, Parvati, Amanda, Ozzy and Cirie lose.

Good concept for a challenge (don't remember seeing that one before). I just wish the bag throwing had any kind of impact on the relay race (they seemed to just bounce off the guys). Nice whoooshing sound effects when the bags were flying though

It's hard for me to see if taking out Amy over Erik was a bad move. Despite the tears, I don't think Amy could be trusted (from this season, and the last time she was on the show). Maybe Erik's clear man-crush on Ozzie will make him a safer ally. Cirie and Amanda both went with Amy as well (despite the group hug), so it was more than just Ozzy being ticked off at being plotted against.

Next week ...
Spoiler:
merge time! It kind of sucks Eliza is ruining Ozzy's joke. But that conversation was hilarious.

"It can't be the idol!"
"Why not?"
"Because it's just a stick!!!"

Eliza's comment in the preview for next week is the best moment of the year so far.

Of course Ami couldn't be trusted. IN THOSE CIRCUMSTANCES. I fully believe that Ami would have been a trustworthy and loyal ally in her original alliance. The awesome alliance of Jonathan, Yau Man, Eliza, Ami and Cirie. Huge potential for entertainment there.

I know some of you find James funny, but he just bugs me. Amanda is boring and fake. Ozzy is fun to watch in challenges but boring otherwise. Parvati is the kind of girl who makes my face go all fart-smelly when I watch her. She's also probably the winner of this season, which is unfortunate.

Getting back to my original point. It was a great move to get rid of Ami, who was smart enough to go after Ozzy, but can anyone really blame her for trying to make moves when she's obviously in the minority? Amanda and Cirie really turned me off big time with their facial reactions to the idea Ami'd been scheming.

I agree about Amanda, she's just annoying as hell now, and Poverty has been since day 1 of her original season. Both clearly think their shit doesn't stink.

And that alliance is indeed boring as hell...Amanda, Poverty, James, Ozzy...yawn. Jonathan, Yau, and company? Much more interesting bunch. If it does get down to those 4, I'll just watch the end of each episode to see who gets ousted, because I really couldn't care less at that point.

Amanda's trying so hard to be Amber and failing miserably at every turn.

Ami's the classic fragile loyalist. If she believes she's in with the cool kids, she'll do everything she can to protect them. However, if she ever feels for a second that she's out of the loop, self-preservation will kick into overdrive. I'm disappointed that the others couldn't see that, and they all pretty much blew their chance to use her to their advantage. Erik's a good keeper, though, since he's in love with Ozzy.

For a scoop jockey, Eric's finally showed some game. Unvarnished truth is a great defense, especially when you can catch another player in the crosshairs.

I agree. Why the hate for Amanda? She hasn't done anything to show she is stuck up like Poverty.

Just riding on Ozzy's coattails a bit too much for my liking. Like das said, she's trying way too hard to be Amber. To me she's not as likable, and comes off as being a really fake person.

If Ami wanted to prove her loyalty she'd have gone back to the favorites with every scheme that was offered to her by the fans. She tried to play both sides and got caught.

The thing is, she could have still played both sides and still kept the favorites in the loop. She could have turned on them at any time and letting them know that Tracy was gunning for Ozzy wouldn't have mattered.

Maybe how she let Rob do all of the dirty work during all stars, and riding his coattail to the final two and winning the season. Amanda hasn't really been any different so far, and going by everything Ozzy says.

The problem with this strategy is that it's exactly what lost Amanda the game in China. No one knew she was playing. Of course, you can't blame her for playing the same way in Micronesia. At the time of filming, the winner of China hadn't been announced and most assumed Amanda would take it.

It really is a shame to think we're left with non-entities like Alexis, Natalie, Amanda, etc. when we could be watching Fairplay, Yau, Jonathan, Ami. Even Kathy, Joel and Mikey B. were better Fan characters. Hell, Chet was more interesting just by being so worthless!

Hoping Eliza can somehow get out of the minority, but things don't look too good.

In my opinion this episode showed how little thinking Cirie is doing in this game. I guess Amanda has her wrapped around her finger, because in my opinion it would have made the most sense to get Ami & Eric to vote with Cirie to vote off Amanda and break up the Ozzy/Amanda alliance. Cirie is stupid for thinking she's going to any final with Amanda/Parvati/Ozzy/James. I think had the other team not given Ozzy immunity - he might have been gone this week. Ozzy will be hard to beat in individual immunity + they don't know he has the immunity idol, although they might figure it out with Eliza's revelation next week!

Also, the fans weren't very forward thinking for giving Ozzy immunity. Yes he may have been good in that challenge, but that was an unknown. Since the majority on their team are fans and Eric was the only fan left on the other team, they should have tried to give him immunity, just to protect their numbers and shake up the favorites. There are now 6 favorites and only 4 fans. Had Eric been voted off, they would have been down even further.

Ozzy played smart though, Eric idolizes him, so instead of Ami who he couldn't trust - he has his puppy dog
