Friday Night Lights Renewed

Although NBC has yet to officially unveil its lineup for next season — that announcement is expected any minute now at the Peacock's New York headquarters — my sources are telling me it'll probably look a lot like the schedule below. The big news: Friday Night Lights has been renewed(!!), The Office is getting spun off (told ya), Lipstick Jungle is returning, and Saturday Night Live is airing on (what?!) Thursday night! For the official rundown, check the Our Take blog later on today. Okay, here's some more information. Apparently, it's a 13 episode order and will air on Directv this fall 1st and then on NBC in midseason.

I read it to be fall 08 on Dtv and Winter 09 on NBC. :shrug:
ETA: I just reread it.. it says mid-season on NBC. So I guess it could be early winter of 08? |
Ill just torrent the episodes then if its a year delay..which its not. NBC announced their summer , fall, winter and 09 summer schedule...not 09 winter.

Winter 09, no that's not right.
If I am understanding the whole scenario correctly, Directv has the 1st run rights to the 13 episodes. Then in either December or January, NBC will start airing the episodes. So, if you have Directv....I assume Channel 101, then you will see FNL 1st. If you don't have it, then you will need to wait a few extra months. |
