I saw that cover last night on EW.com.
Wow!! Great cover!!

I normally throw out my EW's once I finish reading them, but I think I will keep this one.

They are promoting this show here in Canada too. The Canadian network that has the rights for 90210 (Global) aired two "classic" episodes in primetime yesterday and I think that one of the sister stations (TVtropolis) will be running a marathon of the "old" Beverly Hills 90210 episodes on Labour Day just in time for the premiere on Tuesday.

The CW is scheduled to repeat the two hour premiere on Thursday from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
So if you mess up your recording or plan to watch something else on Tuesday, you have
a second chance to catch the premiere via the TV.

LaxBandit --- What did you think about the premiere? I loved it. I thought it was just as good and the original! The new cast is awesome. I really loved the story lines from the get go and only look forward to the entire season. My favorite character is Silver. She seems really feisty. Nice to know I have a new show to watch this fall now!
P.S. How cute is the English teacher!!

Officials at a leading U.S. family group are calling for advertisers to boycott TV network the CW over a controversial scene in the new Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off 90210.
Just 10 minutes into the new series, which debuted in America last week, lead actor Dustin Milligan appeared to be receiving fellatio from a girlfriend in his truck - and the scene has upset the Parents Television Council.
In a statement, PTC president Tim Winter writes, "The CW Network has openly, wantonly and eagerly violated every business tenet of the broadcast industry.
"They shocked viewers during the family hour by depicting high school children engaged in oral sex in their car. It's such a sucker punch to viewers and a lot of families. No one tuned in to 90210 thinking, 'Hey, maybe I will get to see (oral sex).'"
Network bosses are fighting back, insisting the controversial scene was screened for advertisers before the show aired - and no one took issue with what they saw.
A CW statement reads, "For the record, 90210 was screened in advance of broadcast through the customary advertiser screening service."
This is the latest in a string of disputes between the CW and the PTC - the watchdog group has been very critical of the network's racy Gossip Girls series. One critique, calling the show "mind-blowingly inappropriate", has been used to publicise the project.

Why doesn't the parents council just shut up and let the show get cancelled on its own? That seems much more likely than any kind of boycott ever working.
Just curious -- when will these dumb groups actually learn that these stupid calls for "boycotting" just brings more attention to the show itself?

That boycott seems silly to me. There are plenty of other shows on television past and present that are just as "racy" if not more. Especially in this day and age when famous teenage actresses are really having babies... (i.e. Jamie Lynne Spears...to name one.) People should just understand that even though the show is set in "high school", the target audience for the show is probably 18-34 demographic, not 15 year olds.

Did anyone see last night?! The father of Kelly's baby was revealed! I don't want to give anything away, but YAY! I am really just wrapped into this show and its only been 3 episodes! I keep counting down till next week's episode before the current one is even done!
