Definitely one of the more "memorable" duds of the series. It seems every season has one or two absolutely painful episodes, and here we are. Let's hope that the writers of this crap wandered off during the strike and found alternate professions.

I feel like I'm usually first in line to defend this series, but I have to agree - most of the episode was very weak. However, I felt like the production value was good and the music selection/scene choic was good.
My hope and prediction is that Clark is repeating events, only to realized he's about to have Lana II on his hands and make a different choice this time.
My guess is we won't see the end of the Clark "Go Be Superman" plot until the end of next season. If they do it right, and they probably won't, they could put out a tremendous truncated season next year that is just epic is scale and story. Make it something like 14 or 16 episodes, and get rid of all this fluff.
Also, count me in as somebody who thought Jimmy already knew about Chloe, although they did make it seem like he was just finding out.

Jimmy does know about Chloe and i think she may have even used her power to heal a cut on his finger or something similar. She told him when she thought they were going to die i believe.

One of the stars of "Smallville" was arrested this morning -- after cops say he was part of a conspiracy to deal more than 10,000 pills of oxycodone.
TMZ has learned Sam Jones, who played Clark Kent's best friend on the show, was taken into custody by DEA agents who claim Jones was a "co-conspirator" in a series of major drug deals in 2008.
According to documents filed in federal court, the DEA claims Jones was the "Hollywood connection" in a plot to illegally purchase and distribute the oxycodone.
Jones has been charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute. He's due in federal court in L.A. later today.
If convicted, Jones faces up to 20 years in federal prison.

Yeah, I seriously wouldn't associate him with Smallville at this point. I wonder if he asked to leave or if they asked him to leave way back when.

I thought about that, but this is a continuation of the life of Sam Jones and this thread was the last time that he was mentioned with any significance. People were pretty psyched that he came back for one (terrible) episode, so this thread is more about the actor than the episode!
