I just came across this. I had to chuckle:

I've seen every episode - including this one - and I don't know what rabbit teleportation you're talking about and someone mentioned this episode explaining black rock, but I don't know what that is. I can't read through the entire thread because it seems like a bunch of bickering.

Some interesting stuff from this week's podcast:

As for the Black Rock, my only explanation is that you haven't been watching the show all that closely, it's been mentioned (AND SEEN) several times. |
the video is also on the blu ray season 3 disc 6 as a br exclusive.
just before the 2nd rabbit appears there is a pop type noise and then a jar falls off the top shelf. |

The Black Rock is the sailing ship that was talked about (unknown as a ship to the viewer), and then discovered (on screen) at the end of season 1. As you'll recall, that was their source for the dinamite to blow up the hatch.
Additonally, that was the picture at the 1996 auction, where Charles Whitmore bought the ships journal log from the Hanso family. |

I thought that Black Rock was some heavy shit you can get on 15th street.

Great episode but I thought the Producers said a few seasons ago that this all explainable in reality?

Thanks - I don't look at youtube videos or listen to speculation usually, and I don't really watch anything beyond just the shows.
I remember the boat - forgot the name of it and I guess I wasn't paying close attention to the auction scene. :/ Is this episode the first time we get to see just about exactly where they are in the world? Honestly, I was about to give up on the DVD sets of this show, but this episode brought me back on board. By the way - I don't like the whole Loch thing. |

how can anyone not love Nessie? |
I hate outside canon. :( I just want to be able to watch the show. I use my computer at work, and I can't watch these videos here. I also don't usually go on the computer at home, that's when I'm watching TV. Stupid mobisodes. :(

She DID have family (her sister), not to mention she's a woman and the clipping makes it clear the person in the coffin was a man. She also can't be one of the Oceanic Six since she wasn't on the plane. |
