Prison Break--"The Art of the Deal"--Season Finale--2/18/08

Photobucket

This is being advertised as the Season Finale.

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

Michael and Linc make their way to Panama City and their date with Susan B., but Whistler isn't with them. Meanwhile, Mahone waits for an appointment at a Panama City cantina; and McGrady and his father run into a roadblock on their way out of the country. Back at Sona, Sucre pays the price for the escape, while T-Bag comes to Lechero's aid and also takes stock of the new landscape behind the walls.

Does anybody know how much time has elapsed since Michael went into Sona? Seems like it must have been at least three weeks when you add up all the visitations.

As far as I have heard this it it for this season. Now we have to endure an entire stretched out season rather than them possible ending the series this year.

I would not want to be Gretchen because Michael is on a mission, and it ends with her head on a pike.

So what was with Mahone at the end? Why is he teaming up with Whistler?

so we will get another season? Looks like a season of michael trying to find Gretchan.

A few questions....

- who the he'll is Whistler? Does he work for the company???
- if the coordinates weren't important, what was the importance of the bird book?
- when did Mahone contact Whistler, where they in on it together the whole time??

I dunno why, but I found this finale to be confusing.

Anyone know what movie that song at the end of the episode is from? I definitely have heard it in a movie before, but I can't figure it out.

The song sounded like a Spanish version of "Crying" (but I could be wrong).

I see they continued the liberal visitor policy so soon after the breakout.

Mullholland Drive. It's by Rebekah Del Rio.

Not a great finale, by any means, but it sets it up nicely for next season. That Mahone team up was unexpected.

That sucked. And I've been the one defending this show all year. Fucking terrible.

Decent, but you could see writers strike all over it. Mahone was a good twist though. I thought a better twist was maybe have Sarah still alive. oh well 3 originals still left in Sona. Hopefully season 4 is balls out against the company, and just wrap it all up.

I wonder if they will even bother with Sona and the characters there any more?

Eh. Kind of a lackluster "season finale." Glad the McGrady kid story was resolved, but it was a waste of time; they should have been done with it last episode. Definitely raises new questions for next season, but in a boring way. Last season ended with a bang and all of these guys thrown into a new prison. This season has guys separated, and i don't give a shit about any of the guys still in Sona.

I think that was a bank they were looking at from the bar. I wonder if the Bird book contains the safe combination?

i don't understand how they made this episode the finale. they filmed it before the strike i'm assuming?

it was pretty shitty but i'm prolly still gonna watch next season and i hope it's the last.

Very confusing season finale. I think the script needed some serious polishing. It does set up Season 4 pretty good (Hopefully it will conclude the series.) I thought the whole T-Bag thing at the end with him becoming the new leader at Sona was fucking stupid.

Wasn't perfect but i enjoyed the finale. Glad to see a happy ending for the kid. Because i n three seasons, no one has had a happy ending

I would love to see a season of cat and mouse (on the outside) between Michael and Gretchen with Whistler and Mahone in the mix

I also don't care too much for the Sucre/TBag/Belleck in Sona story
