I thought this was one of the best eps to date, and they threw in some juicy bits about the "good ones" turning, they don't know why.
I think the show is getting better and hope they can get one more season or two out of it, it would be a nice bookend to the 3+ movies. |

In the first movie the Terminator arrives first, by the branching timeline theory he then creates a timeline branch from that moment forward, yet Reese arrives later and is obviously not from some alternate future where the Terminator succeeded in killing Sarah (which we can assume he would have if not for Reese's interference). Reese somehow managed to depart from the future after the Terminator was sent back and not just go back along his original timeline, but jump over to the one the Terminator created. |

I tend to ignore continuity and inaccuracy in TV and movies because they are entertainment, not education. However, maybe this will allay everyone's time travel concerns. In the universe of the TV show, they seem to have figured out how time travel works. In our universe, we have no clue. So lets just accept that when it comes to time travel, they know better than us and leave it at that.

I actually glad that I didn't rewatch the first two movies before the pilot - because the incontinuities aren't bothering me a bit. The show is better than I thought it would be, even though Summer Glau is getting on my nerves (as expected).

If the past is changed, the future is only a memory to those who lived it. My head hurts. |

So what was the big secret the machines were building in the future, was it the time machine??
The one thing I figure is the piano playing robot that tortured the humans was the same model as Cameron (which explains why he shot after her). I don't get though why the machines just packed up and left?? Either way, it is a great show and I am finding Summer Glau plays a perfect Terminator + she is gorgeous to boot so it's a win win situation. |

at first i was a bit apprehensive with the future scenes but they ended up being pretty cool
i like the show is getting a bit more depth. first few eps were just running from terminators. |

I'll tell you what happens on Judgement Day....
...this show gets cancelled. The target audience for this show isn't sophisticated as the people posting on this thread. You can't expect your audience to have a thorough background on the details of two movies (one of which is 20 years old). We're only 5 episodes(?) in and they're expecting us to keep track of characters and details in 3 time periods? I'm enjoying it, but this is waaaaayyy too convoluted to maintain ratings. |
