I have no clue either.

Such a beautiful package, but I don't keep the discs in it because I enjoy skimming through the "book" package and don't want to risk the discs inside.

Season 1 was shot on 16 MM film and it certainly shows, but I've found that it looks quite nice on a Plasma. I've seen a couple of season 1 episodes rerun in HD and honestly, this season DVD image looks comparable to that, aside from the MPEG-2 compression ringing around the on-screen credits.

That being said, the remaining seasons look NOTHING like how the HD FOX broadcasts look.

This isn't like ANGEL season 2 where it was 4:3 "opened up" to 16:9, it was indeed shot wide and I'm grateful to have it that way, plus the price is a HUGE bargain considering the individual releases were way too pricey.

I thought I watched too much TV, but I haven't correctly guessed any of the image hints so far!

If I'm wrong than those shots are an amazing coincidence.
