He looks familiar, seems to have been in more sitcoms than anything, but can't place him in any other show, or this one for that matter.

Is it Winchester from M.A.S.H? He was in Perry Mason and Matlock in the 80's.

He was also in "Murder: She Wrote" (according to IMDB... I don't watch that show... seriously, I don't)

I think it is David Ogden Stiers, so Perry Mason was a good guess.

edit again - No, it is Charlie's Angels, I didn't look back far enough. I forgot that CA was a 70s show, I was thinking early 80s.
