Thankfully the DVR will help me speed right through it!
|
Solid episode, not quite as "shocking" as the previous season premieres but still good.
I really hate waiting a week between shows. Oceanic possibly being a player in the entire thing is something I didn't really consider, not sure I buy it, but it's interesting as always. |
ya not a crazy episode by any means. still though can't wait for next week lol.
|
Oh and on a side note, I like the way they're doing flash forwards, it's all shaggy dog but it's way more interesting than I thought it'd be.
|
I guess Hurley wants to go back because he's crazy off the island.
|
I wonder what the Oceanic 6 is.
|
They didn't give a time line, could be before, could be after.

How many commercials!

am i the only one thought this ep was mostly rubbish? more and more nonsense....
and they really need to tone down the melodramatic piano music which is both constant and nauseating. |
Oh my God oh my God oh my God!
Great way to kick things off, nothing exactly earth shattering, just a very solid premiere. Now, did Hurley actually see what he thinks he saw in that cabin? Or was his mind (or the island) playing tricks on him again? Obviously he/we saw Jack's dad in the chair. And after seeing him, I thought when "Jacob" said "Help me" to Locke, it could very well have been him - deep voice and all. Jack found the casket back in S1, and it WAS empty, right? Definitely makes that last mobisode all the more interesting. I'd bet the flash forward was before last season's flash forward in the finale. |
I think its before becuase Jack said he wanted to grow a beard to disguise himself a bit from the people recognizing him.

I don't know about your guys but I was friggin psyched with this episode. Maybe it's because I miss Lost so much.
What did Hurley apologized to Jack regarding Locke. I missed a few words. |

i'm hoping someone will have a screen cap of what went on inside the house. i'm guessing that was jacob sitting in the chair again. that always freaks me out.

Which plane were all the survivors in front of? I thought their plane blew up?
Why didnt Desmond tell anyone what really happened to Charlie? |
Good episode. All I know is that I really like the future "flashbacks." I need to let some things sink in before I discuss more.

I think they missed the boat without having this season start like 2 and 3 with the music being played. It would have been a nice way to tie the seasons together.
Great episode, although I'm never one to say a bad thing about this show. |

Why did Kate swipe the walkie talkie from Jack?
(My wife wants credit for these questions). |
She knew she was right, she's always been like that in the series.
First time seeing the show in HD on our current setup (720p projector w/ ABC HD), I got to say, it's a damn beautiful show. Some jittering from time to time but otherwise, wow. |
Now why would Hurley regret going with Locke when it was Locke that didn't trust the rescue people? Something must be much worse.
