Does that ever bother you when you watch Headline News and you miss part of a ticker story.Just read about someone who had open heart surgery for a leaky heart valve.Does anyone know who they were talking about?thanks

I only watch CNN Headline News in the morning. Needless to say, my eyes never make it down below Robin Meade's chest, so I can't really comment.

I never think to watch Headline News, just the regular CNN channel, so I don't know who this Robin Meades person is. Of course, you've piqued my interest, so I'll check it out tomorrow.

And missing part of the ticker is one of my pet peeves.

Yes. Upsets me terribly if I can't figure out who had the leaky heart valve.

Assuming I haven't just switched to that channel, I just press the instant replay button on my tivo, and rewatch the last 10 seconds, to see who had the leaky heart valve.

The reason I asked is because I have one also so I hope you are feeling better.

I ran a Google news search for "heart valve" and came up with a story from Wednesday about the hockey player Teppo Numminen who plays for the Buffalo Sabres. He had surgery to repair his heart valve in September and the doctors want more time to allow for healing so right now he's not ready to play. Maybe this was the person they were talking about.

OK, started to watch Robin Meade, and really like her. I'd recommend her video podcast as well.
