Chuck returns January 24th for last 2 episodes
Finally the last 2 episodes get a date. But, some weird scheduling by NBC, 1 episode at 8pm and another at 10pm between that piece of shit Celebrity Apprentice.
Rather than put this information in the sticky which pretty much noone here seems to read. I am putting this in it's own thread.

Chuck is returning to NBC, for all of one night.
The show's final two episodes for the foreseeable future will air at 8 and 10 p.m. ET Thursday, Jan. 24, the network announced Wednesday. They'll be sandwiched around an episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice" and take the place of comedy repeats (at 8) and "ER" (at 10).
They also represent the end of "Chuck's" initial 13-episode order and the last episodes completed before the onset of the writers' strike two months ago. NBC has picked up the series for a full season, ensuring that, whenever the strike does end, the show will be back.
When last we saw the show in early December, Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) had reached an uneasy, "just friends" stage in their CIA asset-handler relationship, while Casey (Adam Baldwin) got orders from higher-ups that with the new version of the Intersect computer nearly ready, it would soon be time to eliminate the old one: Chuck himself.
"Chuck" averaged about 8.7 million viewers per week during its fall run. In NBC's favorite demographic of adults 18-49, it drew a 3.5 rating, second in its timeslot to ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."

Not only is that scheduling rather ridiculous, but wouldn't the show fare better for NBC in general if they aired these final two episodes during sweeps? I mean it will have already been a month and a half since the last new episode (12/3). Why not put it back on in its normal timeslot for two weeks during sweeps?
NBC deserves to be in last place.

Excellent news! A funny thing happened while Life was on hiatus. I DVR'd all Chuck episodes and watched them from the pilot through to the Crown Vic episode.....
I LOVE Chuck so much, I've watched several episodes more than once. Hands down, my favorite new show of the year. I don't know what I was thinking, but I see clearly now....Chuck is a very good show.
I'm looking forward to the new episodes.

Wow.. I was just about to start a thread asking the same thing.. New episodes of anything are at a premium right now.. Why would NBC blow it's load (so to speak) by showing 2 eps in 1 night.. Granted they will probably win that night, but still.. Seems wierd

Still, it is been better off airing in a non-American Idol timeslot if you ask me!

Reason why I say people might not know, is they (like myself) are out of the habit of watching primetime tv. Hell, I haven't flipped to NBC since I think the Journeyman finale. Currently watching no other shows on that channel, because they're in repeats, I can see how someone might not see the "Catch New Chuck this week!" spot. Hell, I didn't know about it until I saw this thread and it's my favorite new show! Boards like this one or TWOP are only a small minority of the tv watching masses. If I didn't come here, I wouldn't have known about Chuck until it popped on my DVR. Same thing happened with 30 Rock this week. I had NO CLUE a new ep was airing.

Weird. I thoght that the previously shown episodes formed a pretty good "stopping point" for the series. They should have held these two untl the new episodes were written and filmed.
