I can't even take this anymore, even as background fodder while I do other things. I am going to take this off the DVR. It is awful. I am so bored and no desire to even see who wins.

Not that I'm defending this show; it's crap.

I love this show! Not crap at all! I think that people here are missing the point - these singers and dancers are supposed to be LEARNING. That's why they didn't choose the most polished people. They chose people that they saw had raw talent - but Bruno and Carrie Ann want to take credit for bringing their level up to stardom.
BTW: whose your favorite of the contestants? I think that for the girls mine is Lacey and for the guys it's Bradley. Lacey clearly has the best singing voice of the bunch and I like Bradley's attitude the best.

My favorite dancer as far as girls go is for sure lacey. I'm not too sure where I stand as far as my favorite guy goes, but I know it's definately not Bradley. Qis is pretty much a chill guy, so I guess I'd say he's my favorite. I've been watching these videos that they put up on their website http://abc.go.com/primetime/dancewar/index?pn=index
and Qis definately deserves to win, but I don't think he's going to.

What I want to happen is that Bruno's team loses week after week until it's just Lacey against Carrie Ann's team, and then they start losing so that Lacey wins in the end. It could be really cool in the end because the teams will be different sizes. I watched all those videos too - there's more at the Dance War Fan Club, here's one with some cool behind the scenes stuff, gives me a better idea of who's kissing who!

Right on, I will. I am so hoping I win the tickets to the last taping, I think it would be so cool to be in the audience because it looks like a lot of fun on TV. Tonight is supposed to be a longer show I guess because Taylor Swift is coming on to perform, which I think is pretty rad (I read it here: http://www.cmt.com/news/articles/158...__taylor.jhtml ). I've heard that he is not the best live, so I think it will be cool to see how he does.

I'm out.
There's no way that Bruno is ever going to win. Like someone said before, women make up the base of the audience and they'll vote for Carrie Ann. Her team is the weakest of the two, but they'll continue to get the votes because they hate Bruno.
Bruno was right, that second number by TCA was nothing but strutting and posing. Laughable.
Anyways... the rest of you have a blast with this show. I'm gonna find something else to watch.

Another predictable result. At least last week, the teams were relatively on par with each other, so Carrie Ann's obvious victory wasn't as absurd as before. Bruno needs to kick Kelsey off his team, because her dancing is so far superior to everyone else that it makes the rest of them look bad. While the others are struggling to remember the choreography, she's out there selling every single movement the way you'd expect from someone whose mother owns a dance studio. Not that I'm still watching or anything.

What did you think of Carrie Ann’s “Devil Went Down to Georgia” performance? I thought that they opened with the synced sound effects was pretty cool, but that Bruno’s point that they took the easy way out was true. I thought when they sung together they were good, but the solos were pretty weak. I think it’s funny that they were still dancing basically hip hop moves to a country song – I only saw one tiny hint of do-si-do (and even that was mixed with ballet) in there. I’m not sure if Carrie Ann really captured the country feel. She said she did about the first number they did, said it was about “iconic imageries of the wild west”. What, cowboys and hookers?

Man, last night's show was entertaining. I knew beforehand that Tony and Zack weren't going to do too good of a job in the competition on account of their both northerners and know nothing about country. Did you guys see Qis doing his cowboy impression, that was hillarious. "Yeeeehaw!"

I agree that Bruno's team probably won this week. I didn't care for the Boots/Walk It Out mix, but he got the crowd excited on that one. For the most part TB's harmonies were off, but the choreography was tight. TCA has won two weeks in a row, so I think people won't feel as bad if she loses next week.
I really hope that TCA takes the competition. As you mentioned, some of her choreography doesn't fit with that weeks theme, but it best suits her teams abilities and that's what's most important.

I heard that Dance War will have a Latin theme either next week or the week after, it'll be interesting to see the choreography for that because if Carrie Ann keeps making it easy for her team I wonder what will be Latin at all about the dance numbers. Salsa and tango and meringue and all that is HARD.

I was out after they picked their teams. The singing is pretty excruciating to sit though. If they are trying a variety like Donny & Marie, it's not really working.

The cool thing about the contestants is some of them are natural dancers and others are natural singers. There are few that did both before the show. Do you like these types of shows? Have you seen the MTV Best Dance Crew Show? I like DW better, at least truly talented people are in the competition. I can't say the same for the MTV show.
