If you agree to paperless billing and pay by credit card.. you can get Cinemax for .01 per year until 2010. This offer is good until 1/31/08

What if I already have them charge my credit card each month already? Can I still do the promotion? I do, however, still get a statement but it says that $xx.xx amount will be charged to my credit card by x date.

I signed up for this last week. Most people on FW are reporting that it will work if you already have auto-pay and paperless billing, but not if you currently have or have had Cinemax within the last 6 months.

Since the DISH people are already coming to this thread, figured I'd ask here.
Does anyone know of any decent deals (and cost) of getting DISH for 5 TVs. My dad is looking to get rid of cable and wants to either save money on his current cable bill of $50/mo or pay a bit more, but also get more. He doesn't want any premium channels and would be happy with either the 200 or 100+ packages. He wants DVR but doesn't want HD. I see the prices on the website, but is there anything else floating around?

It is a duo-tuner in one receiver so there's no extra $5 per month fee, and there's only one DVR fee ($6 a month but this is well worth it). This is what I have. The two tuners can each record on the 100 hour DVR.
As far as the autopay goes... I'm still a little leary about letting any company do an autopay. I'll probably do it in the end, 1 cent movie channels would be very nice (especially with my DVR...).

I just signed up for the Cinemax deal yesterday. You'll get the Cinemax channels for a penny through January, 2010.
I highly recommend getting into the habit of looking at your bill online each month before it's charged to your card.
Anyway, another deal that Dish Network has is that their price of an annual subscription is equivalent to the price of 11 months of programming. That is, pre-pay for 11 months and get a free month.

Is it true that dish service requires a connection to a phone line? I'm hoping to get one of their basic packages soon, but if I need a phone line, I don't think I'm going to be able to swing it (yeah, I know, but I'm on a pretty strict budget).
