Okay I'm a little confused now. So they actually shot an episode 12 and 13? I thought the show got shut down after episode 11.

from what i've read, it seems they shot parts of eps 12 and 13, particularly zach quinto scenes since they had to get his scenes out of the way so he could go film star trek. and i guess that trailer is culled from the footage they did shoot.

Oh okay, thanks for the clarification. I didn't realize that managed to squeeze in some more material before they got shut down.

I don't know how much validity there is to this site, but they are reporting that at least 5 episodes were shot for Volume 3 (8 scripts were written, so 3 are sitting on the shelf), which would mean 16 episodes were actually filmed before production got shut down.

You have to wonder how much of whatever they shot will still be usable due to both the aging of the cast (particularly for Micah) and due to the supposed changes Kring made to the storyline to make the last episode aired work as a season finale. It will be interesting to see how this all works out.
