I loved M. Rodrigues, and L. Lohan among others listed on the ankle bracelet thing.

I'm pretty sure only Groucho knows that answer to that.

The best part of the episode for me was Jack putting the tray of food for his mom so that the girl cold cough on it.

Not quite up to par with the rest of the season, but they've set the bar so high, they're bound to have a few "meh" episodes. Still, most sitcoms wish they were as good as the worst episodes of 30 Rock.

The Andy Richter/memory loss stuff was kinda dumb. I would have figured Cerie would be the one to "cure" him.

Side note: Did the show's budget get cut? Most of the blue/green-screen stuff looked terrible (especially the stuff with the kids at the mission).

I thought that scene with Cerie was hilarious, as she was basically recounting all the teen comedies of the era that Andy Richter thought it was. Hot girl, parents out of town, waiting in the hot tub.

Oh god, 30 Rock has become one of THOSE comedies.

...But it's true.

Now that Mitch is no longer living everyday as if it were the day before his accident, wouldn't he expect to have his date with Cerie?

I still don't get that part. Was she really into him or just playing along because she knows about his situation?

I might be wrong, but I assumed it was sort of like Memento, where after a certain amount of time (next day, maybe?) Mitch "resets" and thinks it's 1985 again, which means he won't remember anything that happened in the present (Cerie's date, being told the actual year). That's the reason why his family are hiding the actual date from him; no need to freak him out on a daily basis if he's not going to remember it the next day.

That's what I got too, and why they didn't want to upset him by telling him the truth because it's going to just cause a bad emotional scene yet do no longterm good.

And what was it Jack said to Mitch when he found out that he thinks Reagan is still president. "You lucky bastard" (or something like that)

I get all that. I was asking about the assistant chick. Was she really into him or just playing along.

Cerie was just playing along. Isn't she still engaged?

Am in NY for a few days, and went to the ASSSCAT 3000 show at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. It was great, Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) was there along with Amy Poehler, Seth Myers, and several other comedians doing improv.

All for $8. Great fun. Jack looks just like Kenneth of course

Haha, I flew into NY this weekend as well and caught the same show (Sunday at 7:30) with my sister and a couple friends. That was a great deal and it was fun seeing Amy, Seth, the Human Giant folks, and what have you for 2 hours. Agreeably awesome for $8.

Jack seems to almost be Kenneth in real life, and so hearing him drop an f-bomb at the end, somewhat awkwardly was great. Nothing like hot dirty gay midget sex to prompt some quality improv .

I know... strange, a guy I know pretty well was in that same area as well, he's never been to NY before and lives across the country from me, and we wound up in the same places on the same weekend... and then 2 people on the same forum attended the same show in a tiny venue (150-ish). Weird.
