Now if Marg Helgenberger would just leave, it would be CSI: Utopia.

No, because her character was always such a mopey beotch whose lines were delivered by an actress with the range of a overdosed haldol zombie which brought the show to a grinding halt whenever she appeared, at least IMO.

I think this sums it up perfectly.

I like the way you think. Other than last night, it seems Wendy has been getting more and more screen time lately so I doubt Ronnie is a lock either. Here's hoping.

Amen, and halleluiah too that!

I'm not a big Sara Sidle (talk about the worst last name in TV history) fan either, but I cared about her leave more than I would say, any of the CSI: Miami supporting cast members. The CSI's aren't exactly the best shows too watch, if you're looking for character development, but CSI: Miami has none at all. David Caruso's sunglasses have had more character development than the rest of the cast.

Yeah, the way they wrote her out was very cliched, but it wasn't the worst "writing out a character" I've ever seen in my life.

She should have died in the season premiere. Why drag out her departure? I always hated the way she delivered her lines (sort of sing-songy), and Jorja Fox is anything but a fox. All that $ and she couldn't afford invisible braces to close that gap between her 2 front teeth? See ya, Sara! Bring on the babes!

I don't understand all the Marg Helgenberger bashing. IMO, she's a really sexy woman even at age 49.

There was a write up in this weeks EW (Will Smith cover) about CSI and essentially echoed everyone's sentiments here about Wendy (Vassey) stepping up over Ronnie(Lucas).

Hopefully, despite being on strike, the writers are listening.

I hope so Corvin. I have not liked the Ronnie character at all.

I agree. And a great actress too. If anyone has ever seen China Beach from 20 years ago with Dana Delaney they would know.

While she still has a good body, I don't find her attractive at all. And her character is terribly annoying. She was pretty cool up until her ex-husband died, but since then she's been bitchy, whiny, and way too emotionally attached to a lot of the cases. The character is no fun anymore.
