Comcast what gives?

I have the Comcast HD channels and it seems like everytime the wind blow or it rains the HD channels go out or the HD channels become this tetrisy mosiaic. I'm paying $50 a month for this service and whenever i call they say it'll be back working in the next couple of hours then it just happens again a few days later. Even shoe on my DVR get the digital mosiac thing. I've asked residents in my apt building and they have the same problem but out building has a contract with comcast so its impossible to get anything else. Any suggestions?

Yes -- call Comcast and escalate the call as far as possible. The only way you're going to get action is to make shutting you up more palatable than them being lazy.

I have had zero issues with my HD channels.

Probably water getting into a connection someplace whether it be at your house or in a junction at the street or where ever. It's going to be hard to find even if you do ever get them to admit that there is a problem.

I think it's pretty apparent that this is a signal quality issue. A truck is going to have to come out and fix something, and it's going to take the squeaky wheel approach I advocate above to make it happen. I doubt most Comcast customers are having any problem.

Back in the day when I had cable, any call and they always seemed to credit my account. Of course it helps when there is competition.
