So to recap they forced their way into a civilian family's home, took what they wanted by force, and threatened the family with death if they did not conform to their demands. We've seen this kind of behavior before... in criminals and terrorists. Don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of the Unit and have enjoyed every episode in some way or fashion but this episode honestly shocked me.

Yea, I mean, for the most part, it's a war zone. Their first and last concern is them and their "package." Everything else is secondary.
The difference between them and terrorists is that terrorists would have come in and killed them all from the start so they didn't have to worry about them at all.
It's cliche, but hate the game, not the playa

I'm not saying that any of them deserved to die, but they were asked repeatedly to keep quiet and not to move. It was very important that nobody knew the Unit guys were there so when the dude took off running what other choice did Bob have? Basically it was either the kid or them. As others have said all they had to do was keep quiet and the Unit guys would have eventually gone on their way.
We may not technically be at war with Lebanon, but it was still a hostile environment and the same rules apply.

Again, it was a hostile environment and they were in "survival mode". Saying I'm sorry or trying to be diplomatic was the last thing on their minds. Like it's been said numerous times, all the family had to do was keep quiet for an hour and everything would have been fine.

The truth of the fact is that "A Few Good Men" had it right. Our country needs people that "stand on that wall".
I don't want to get into a HUGE political debate here but the fact of the matter is that in order for US citizens to retain the rights that they're used to we need guys like Bob and other military guys/girls that are willing to do whatever it takes to keep our country safe. Those are the people that risk there lives each and every day to keep people like you and me safe and ask nothing in return.
We may not always like how they go about it but we should always respect that our military's job is to keep its citizen's safe

Seems a little TOO convenient given the ending of last week's episode.

them being where they were when he was shot was random
if the extraction had gone as planned they never would have been on that particular area

I don't expect the show to be 100% beleivable or accurate, but that'd be too much

So, why did they kill Hector off? I looked on IMDB and there's nothing indicating he's got upcoming work. No news articles saying he wanted off the show.
