This was the best episode of 30 Rock that I have seen! The therapy session and Carrie Fisher sreaming "You're my only hope" were classic!

"This isn't crawling - this is proud begging...like those kids dancing in the subway."

Excellent episode, a lot of great one-liners!

Loved the blackface pitch in the meeting followed by Donaghy's multiple impersonations.

Okay, can someone confirm if Baldwin was actually doing a genuine impersonation of Redd Foxx, or was he just lip-synching to a recording? Because that was the damn best Fred Sanford impersonation I have ever heard. Like scary good. Like he was 'possessed by the ghost of Redd Foxx or something' good.

He's done a couple other pretty good impressions on SNL over the years. . .

Loved the Page-Off. Kinda wish that it hadn't been broken up.

Another great episode.

This episode was fantastic!

I didn't see a thread for last weeks, but I thought Baldwin's line, "I have a cousin who bets on NBA Games." When asked about character witnesses for that job was great.

Well, he is The Mimic, after all.

That was probably the best Redd Foxx impersonation that I've heard, too.

Didn't care for the Page-off storyline, but the therapy session was brilliant. Quite possibly the funniest moment in 30 Rock history.

Being a big Sanford and Son fan; I just about collapsed from laughter. I was just waiting for him to say; that’s Fred Sanford, S-A-N-F-O-R-D. Period. I can’t confirm whether or not that was actually Alec’s actual impersonation or if he was just lip syncing it; but if it was him, he should win EMMY; just for that!

Indeed, the therapy session was brilliant! Lines like "I think we're doing Good Times now..." and the one I mention earlier (Redd Foxx impersonation), is a real treat for fans like myself; of the 70s sitcoms created by Norman Lear.

Although I think they did a good job with Carrie Fisher’s character (Rosemary) and the "Help me Liz Lemon! You're my only hope!" line was good; I saw it coming. She wasn’t the best part of the episode.

I liked the page-off story; and the little chime thing that went ‘ding, dong, ding’ was good and it was a good way to fill a few minutes of the show.

This was definitely the best episode of the season thus far; and it’s in the running for one of the best 30 Rock episodes, Period.

Agree, the best episode of the season so far! Absolutely loved Alec in this. He is a big reason why I like the show.

Any word on if he is signed/will signed/returning for a season 3 (assuming there is one)? IIRC, after the voicemail debacle with his daughter, he said he wanted to devote more time to his family and didn't really need to do the show or something to that effect. Just wondering if anything more recent is out there on this.

My favorite part was hearing another one of Tracy's movie titles:
227: New Jackée City
