Anybody else watch this? (Fridays, 9 pm eastern, ABC)

It stars Angie Harmon as a police detective, and three other women (ADA, medical examiner, and reporter) who work together to solve murders.

It is not compelling tv, it is so-so. But it is better than the vampire on CBS who has to die so Jericho can be run.

I didn't make it to the end. Uninteresting characters. The books are pretty good, but there is absolutely nothing that stands out about this show.

I was pretty bored by the case they were solving, but I liked the characters somewhat so I will give it a few more episodes to find its stride. The serial killer murder at the end looks like it might be an interesting story arc.

I was thinking Laura Harris looked very old here. Her hair and makeup are too severe and not flattering. She looks like a ghost.

It was terrible. My wife made me shut it off less than halfway in.

I've read some of the books, and they aren't as good as some of the Alex Cross novels that James Patterson puts out (or whoever is ghost writing them now). I don't really buy Harmon or Harris in their roles. As for the book series:

Spoiler:
Jill Bernhardt (Laura Harris' character) dies in the third book I believe.

Haven't watched this yet, but I worked with Angie Harmon's husband (Jason Sehorn) 2 years ago on an NFL preview show and he was a really cool guy. I'll eventually get around to watching this.

Pretty ho-hum. Plus it wasn't aired in HD - at least on my affiliate.

I wish Angie Harmon went back to Law & Order. They could really really use her as the lead ADA now.

It was good to see Henry from American Dreams.

Watched it yesterday. Angie was the reason I wanted to catch this. Wasn't bad. Nothing that would make me regret missing an ep if my DVR doesn't record it..

We DVRd this and watched it the other day because the wife reads the books and knows the characters and was interested. Within the first 30 it was clear Harmon doesn't pass as a cop the show just wasn't interesting. It was like a really bad made for TV movie on Lifetime type of show. Wife really really wanted to like it (as did I) but it just wasn't good.

I watched and the dialogue seemed a bit too cutsey for me. The characters would say stuff that script writers would only come up with. I won't be watching again.
