I think the last cycle's thread got 3 followups, so I can't expect too many to watch or comment on the show. I think 4-5 of the gals are conventionally pretty, the rest are more along the lines of "model-pretty".

I'm still trying to decide if I'll be watching this or "kid nation" this season... I'm gonna watch "Kid Nation" tonight and then the repeat of ANTM on sunday and then make my mind up.

Well Im in for the first time... Been watching all the marathons with the wife so Im kinda hooked now.

On to the finale. I can't believe Tootie won this thing. The wife and I figured she would since Tyra always seems to pick that type of look. In terms of looks and pictures though Chantal blew her away. Overall I thought Lisa looked the most like a model and was shocked when she got sent home.

Again disappointed in the winner. I guess she can go hang out with Jaslene and do nothing.

Ugh. Cycle 8 and 9 have poor choices for ANTM. Of the final 3, I had preferred Jenah over the other 2 because who wants drama-less models? I was glad when Bianca got sent home last week, she always grated on my nerves. Too bad Heather's asperger's spacey-ness ruled her out for the final 4 (but America loved voting for her week after week). Overall, not a great season, just so-so.

Jenah looked much better with less eye make-up, almost like a different, more open person.

I pretty much have never picked the right winner for ANTM. I always go with the other one, but in my opinion Jaslene was the worst pick EVER.

This season was a new low. Apparently Tootie went to Tyra's T-Zone camp, has done runway on Tyra's show before and was also in this Wendy's commercial which, by the rules, should've precluded her casting on the show.

This whole show is NOT finding America's Next Top Model. It's finding America's Next Top Cover Girl.

What rules are you referring to? Are there actual rules stating that if you've done a commercial then you can't be on the show? I think it's perfectly fine. A lot of them have been pursuing modeling/acting before the show. They shouldn't be punished because they've had a little success preceeding the show.
