IMO it's sort of like how many x-files fans are split between the creature eps and the big conspiracy eps. For many, Prison Break is just about breaking out and they did not like the running story line of why they were in there.. at least not to the level of focus season 2 put into it.

I just gave up right around the ep where they had the whole parking lot talk with Kellerman...

but now, now that are in a prison in Panama I'll start watching again. Also sort of funny being back in threads for seasons 1 use to say they could not have a season 2 unless they ended up in a mexican prison. .

soooooooo I was off by a year worth of eps and few miles but still.. LOL

I thought this premiere was pretty good, but I'm really wondering:

Spoiler:
How they end up handling the Sarah character.

Hmmm, could've done without the stupid drum music. Not a great start to the season, but I didn't think the start to either season 1 or 2 was all that to write home about, either.

Mahone just embarrased that guy. Whats the point of all that muscle when someone can come up and kill you in two moves?

To answer your question about Sara:

Spoiler:
It's a body double and you will not see her face or hear her talk. Ms. Sarah Wayne Callies status with the show is still undetermined.

I really liked the premiere. I can see the writers setting up some interesting plots and twists this season. Sucre's going to need to get back to the States since Maricruz (Camille Guaty) is now a regular cast member on Las Vegas.

Primarily because the actress is pregnant.

She already had the baby. She nor FOX hasn't confirmed whether or not she will return this season. The Ausiello story about her status from a few weeks ago is only a "rumor" at this point.

I can forgive the writers for a lot of the far-fetched plotlines that they come up with. However, what I absolutely cannot buy into from both the first two seasons and then even here, is how T-Bag can get his way so easily and hasn't been killed off.

He's not all that tough, yet he managed to kill all of those people in S1 and S2, sometimes with just one hand? And now, a couple of nice words and somehow he's wormed himself into the good graces of the prison boss?

So is Mike Myers getting a royalty check from Brett Ratner for having a whorenun on the show?

I think this is where I part ways with this show. It was terribly boring.

I forget, how did Alex Mahoney end up in there?

I sat down to watch the new episode but could not remember where the previous season left off and how the main characters ended up in the prison. Can anyone please give me a quick summary to refresh my memory?

Great episode. Good to see early on what the 'big bad' will be, with kidnapping and breakout. Mahone was awesome when he jumped in with the neck break. And T-bag is a survivor and a charmer, so to me, he looked perfect standing beside the 'King' while watching the 'Gladiators'

Can anyone just give me a quick answer? I don't have time to fish through a complete recap.

S1 was classic, S2 managed to save itself by the end. I thought S3 was an unnecessary add-on ... but they could prove me wrong. Strong start.

Spoiler:
If I remember, Mahone was holding Linc hostage, in exchange for the money, and the getaway boat. Scofield gives him the boat, and the 'money' but stashes drugs in it, to setup Mahone getting arrested

It definitely got better toward the end but it's really stretching credulity now...even moreso than 24 and that's a feat! I'll keep watching however, or at least TIVOing it for the most part. There's always a damn war for what shows I can watch tape on Mondays.

After a very disappointing second season, I was very pleased with last night's premiere. Interesting stuff going on, and I stand a very good chance of getting hooked on this show again.

Well I loved it !!

I know not to expect too much from this show and I thought the season opener was action packed!

Love the whole - this is a prison with no guards.

When they took the dead guys out into the yard I said "oh, that's how they are going to escape. They will just play dead."

Then I see the guards shoot each guy in the head to make sure they are dead

Great - Fun Hour of TV

Has that nun/whore been in anything else? She looked familiar.

Also, the chick with the scratches on her face.

At first when it started the wife and I thought the girl with scratches was Sarah recast.

I liked the first episode. I for sure think this needs to be the last season though. Let's wrap it up. These guys can only have so much bad luck.

Overall though I'm excited about this new season and to see what happens!
