This list is crazy. No Rockford Files, no Perry Mason, no Hawaii Five-O, no Andy Griffith Show, etc.

I hate these lists that are mostly made up of American shows (or movies, as the case may be) with a few token British offerings to demonstrate...something. Either restrict it to US shows only (my preference) or have the intelligence to include classics like Fawlty Towers, Only Fools and Horses, I'm Alan Partridge, Phoenix Nights and Black Adder, which are better shows than most of the list.

Leaving off The Andy Griffith Show completely invalidates the list.

Agreed. I haven't figured out how they came up with this list. Sound like they picked 200 shows and narrowed it down to 100 by picking them out of a hat.

Then they allow crap like the Super Bowl, Sportscenter, and "MTV 1981-1992" in there...

At first glance, I see 24, Battlestar, and Felicity and want to tear this list to shreds; but on closer inspection, it's really not that bad considering*.

* considering these lists suck

The omission of Sports Night makes the whole thing worthless in my eyes.

I agree. The list isn't as bad as I was expecting. And I dislike most of the omissions that people are complaining about.

Agreed. I when I spotted BSG on the list. Oh well, it could have been worse- they could have put Heroes on there.

They got The Office (UK), Six Feet Under, and The Wire on the list, so I'm happy.

He really needed to have better criteria on what consitutes "a television show". He's got A Charlie Brown Christmas on there (one-shot) and a freakin' DECADE of MTV!

I can deal with 'Angel' not being on the list, but really "ER" didn't make the cut (I'm also a little upset 'Everwood' didn't make the cut, but I can live with that)? I know the show has been a shell of its former self the last 5 years or so, but durring seasons 3-7 it was probably the best thing on television...

I really like that GILMORE GIRLS and MY SO CALLED LIFE made the list, personally I think they are two of the most underretated television shows ever.

I also love how they call THE SIMPSONS the "best. TV Show. Ever"

It was good, but it was no "Felicity".

The Beverly Hillbillies is easily one of the best 100 shows ever.

Haha, I actually agree with that choice. From the onset FELICITY seemed like another whinning teen soap, but the coming-of-age story arc's as well as the characterization was amazing. Ask anyone who watched the show - the characters were impossible to not fall in love with, and it was a show that you couldn't help but watch week-after-week.

Ok, I know people don’t like me talking about Scrubs but if fu*king god damn SpongeBob SquarePants can make the list, why not Scrubs?

The list is invalid because American Idol is on it. WORST. LIST. EVER.

No ER, The Fugitive, Mission: Impossible, etc...= ???
