I always go crazy at the beginning of the year, but typically end up with only about 33% of the shows I try out by January (last year all I watched was "Brothers and Sister," "Gilmore girls," "Veronica Mars," "One Tree Hill," "Grey's Anatomy" and "Men in Trees"

This year starting out I'll be watching "Brothers and Sisters," "October Road," "Heroes," "Friday Night Lights," "Gossip Girl," "Reaper," "Lipstick Jungle," "Private Practice," "Dirty Sexy Money," "Grey's Anatomy," "Men in Trees," and "Moonlight" live...

I'll be catching Online/DVD: "Desperate Housewives," "Bionic Woman," "How I Met Your Mother," "Ugly Betty," "Jericho," "ER," "Big Shots," "Supernatural," and "Samantha Who?"

New shows: Bionic Woman, Journeyman, Sara Conner Chronicals, Big Bang Theory, Chuck, Life, Back To You and on BBC America Torchwood!

Returning shows: How I Met Your Mother, Boston Legal, Two and a Half Men, Stargate Atlantis, Smallville, Battlestar Galactica, Heroes, Lost and cartoons consisting of The Batman, Legion of Superheroes and the Fantastic Four and on BBC America the second season of Life On Mars!

Shows that are on now: 4400, Eureka, Flash Gordon (Yes I Know...I roll my eyes too!)Doctor Who plus my BBC America show MI5 and I am watching Seven Days on Spike.

Plus I have discovered over the summer some good shows on TLC and Discovery Home:
Garage Takeover, Clean Sweep and Holmes on Homes. The big problem with these is that they come on several times during the day with different episodes. The dvr gets filled up quick so I will probably cut these out when the Fall season cranks up good.

And that's just my shit! The wife and I don't watch any of the same shows. She is watching The Closer and Saving Grace right now. Returning shows will be basically all of the CBS crime dramas (CSI's,NCIS, etc., etc.). I know she will be watching Suvivor China and Bones and I haven't got a clue what new shows she will end up watching!

Add to all this FOOTBALL GAMES both Pro and College which we both watch!

Once again my dvr will become a battlefield!!

Take care all!!

No cable and no DVR pretty much limits my scheduled tv watching to Thursday. the Office, 30 Rock and Scrubs. Though I do have a huge amount of TV on DVD approaching this fall, so the situation is pretty much the same.

I'm thankful that I don't like most shows on TV and I have a DVR. My viewing is pretty much limited to:

Weeds
My Name is Earl
Nip/Tuck (even though S4 sucked)
Hell's Kitchen
Metalocalypse

... and everything else is repeats like The Simpsons, American Gladiators, Howard Stern, Headbanger's Ball, Robot Chicken and a couple others.
