Eureka

Anybody still watching this show? This past week had one of the funniest scenes that actually made me laugh out loud. Everyone at Global Dynamic are getting dumber and Sheriff carter walks by two guys playing Marco Polo, but they are consistently only repeating Marco and leaving the Polo out. The Sheriff walks by them and then turns back and tells them they have to say polo also. That's how the game is played. The two guys start saying only Polo. man, I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Overall this show, like Psych, is consistently entertaining.

I think the show is better this season than last and last season was great. There hasn't been any real bad episodes and I am surprised more people aren't watching.

I watch it every week and it's very entertaining (like Psych). The dream sequences from two weeks ago were hilarious as well.

I still continually watch and while it is remarkably entertaining for a "cheesy" cable show (a la Psych), it also manages to hit a dramatic moment now and again.

I am impressed with what I originally believed would be a quick cancellation from the Sci-Fi Network.

(Side note: I still wish they had managed to work the character of Darien Fawkes into next week's episode regarding invisibility...)

I watch it faithfully. I'm surprised there isn't an episode thread each week...

I alsowatch this show faithfully and it seems it just doesn't get the same slavish devotion of some other shows here. I have been impressed with al the little twist and turns of this season.

I wonder how much thought Carter will put into Henry's revelation from last week. I hope he does figure out what Henry did to him.

Really enjoying the interplay within the triangle of Allison, Stark and Carter. I wonder when we'll see Beverly again. She seems very important to Henry's storyline.

All in all, a great little show.

I really enjoy Eureka each week. It was a much welcomed surpise last season and this year they've delivered a solid season thus far.

Like invisiblegt said, it's a fun and entertaining show that has some nice dramatic moments. Here's hoping we see season 3 next year!!!

Yeah they're laying down some nice backstories and seasonal story arcs. It'll be interesting to see how all the stuff is going to culminate seeing as there are only 4 episodes left this season. I'm smelling "cliffhanger"!

As am I, but then again I wondered the same thing about The Closer and Burn Notice which are also great summertime fare.

Eureka is one of the shows scheduled on my DVR, and my wife and I watch it together. Good stuff.

Still no Beverly, even though Stark and Henry are talking about her. Seems she should be back from her trip. She does run the local boarding house (Bed&Breakfast) Inn.

Wonder where Carter is heading with the laundry lady.

Well perhaps you missed an episode, but they sort of given us the impression that she's flown the coop fearing that everyone in Eureka was soon to figure out that she'd been spying on them... When they introduced Carter's ex-wife who was a psychotherapist, I kind of expected them to have her come in to replace Beverly. Still could happen once they realize she's gone for good I suppose.

I thought she indicated that she needed to speak to someone which is why she didn't take all the info out of her safe. (The device that Henry found.) I am just wondering when she will return. I don't think she is gone for good.

Back when Henry mind-wiped Carter, I was under the impression that Henry was going to hold it against Carter for stopping him from saving Kim. But it seems now that Henry's forgiven Carter (see the gabba-blocker episode) since he can pin it all on Beverly. I was glad to see that development. And did anyone notice that, even though Henry is at GD, he's still the one driving the tow truck?

This is a good show that just keeps on getting better. Despite their having to save the world from a science experiment gone bad every week, the episodes still manage to stay fresh and the story arcs apart from the "crisis of the week" are the fuel that keeps it building. Plus I have come to care about the characters and the show has genuine feelings throughout. Even Nathan has been humanized without taking away his edgy manner.

Tonight's episode has started bringing some intriguing ideas together. Carter seems to be remembering and Kevin is making connections with/thru the artifact. Seels to be picking up momentum going towards the season finale.
