I'd like to know the need for two stars to be hosting the show. Mike Adamle is still grunting it out doing local sports (albeit in Chicago) and Larry Csonka...well, he's still being a bitter old man just waiting to pop the champaign if the Pats lose. Their greatness hosting the show was that the contenders and even more so, the gladiators were the stars. While I am happy to see the show back on the air, they need to bring in two schmos to host it (hell, even bring in the Pros v Joes host along with some hasbeen athlete) and get rid of all the trademarkish vocals by the gladiators along with the interviews with the contestents. Anyone else notice that for the women it's generally an ugly duckling vs. an attractive yet annoyingly positive minded chick?

I found the show to be mildly entertaining if one fast forwards through anything that isn't actual competition.

I was a huge fan of the original show when I was a kid, and I'm loving this new version as well. The talking parts are a little boring, but the competition sections are classic TV, in my opinion.

So many good looking female Gladiators, I can't even name them all, but my favorite is Crush.

I've been saying this since it first premiered. i can't take that guy serious, every time I see him do his thing I laugh and think about the bar room scene from Dodgeball.

I've given up watching this show on NBC, I know just wait for it to get posted on Hulu.com and skip past all the horribly scripted lines.

I think what makes them all better is that they dont look all trashy like most girls today. I havent spotted a single tattoo on the chicks. If they have em, theyre not visible. Makes em totally hotter.

2. everytime the ref counts down 3, 2, 1 - anyone who does not say "Dodgeball" after 1 must drink
3. everytime a contestant dedicates their performance to a family member, take a drink
4. anytime the play by play announcer makes a bad pun, finish your glass
5. everytime the gladiator "Wolf" howls, howl and do a shot
6. everytime someone loses a piece of protective equipment (helmet, neck brace, etc.) take a drink

I wish they would dump the way the hosts talk to the competitors just before the match starts. I'd rather just get a short interview after each match.
