The 'king of one-liners' last night was stupid. The guy in the middle was the obvious winner but everyone clapped for the fat black guy even though he sucked.
Looks like he'll take the whole thing based on popular (read: ignorant) vote.

Jon Reep won huh? He wasn't even in my personal top 5...come to think of it, neither was Lavell... I think America mistook Reep for Gerry Dee and called the wrong number 2 weeks ago...that's the only thing that can explain it.

After they got rid of that last British guy, it was all downhill from there.

Reep, wasn't bad. In fact, I could see his routine being a sitcom. Lavell was a one fat trick pony, and it almost looked like he was going to cry when he lost. Dee was funny, but he had that weird nervous swaying motion when he did his routines that always seemed odd to me. Amy was funny and got hotter as the show went on.

I caught the last few episodes since I love standup. For the most part, the final 4 or 5 sucked. I thought Lavell was going to win in a landslide. Of course, fat jokes were going to be the 'bulk' of his material. Still funny.
