Well that smoking example makes sense as well, since cigarette companies aren't allowed to advertise on television, thus anything in film or TV would be good.

But yeah chalk it up to no free advertising, like said. I remember watching an MTV show where they were talking about their standards, and that's one of the things they said, and explained that that's the reason all the shirts/hats were blurred. Before that I wondered why everyone wore apparel with profanity on it...heh.
