The Company on TNT - 08/05/07

The Company premiered on TNT last night. Anybody watch this show? I didn't have the time, but I Replayed it, and plan on watching it tonight.

I'd love to hear what people thought of it. I hadn't heard of it before yesterday, but the commercial teaser looked great!

I DVR'd it last night and noticed that it ran 1 minute longer. Plus TNT aired 3 times last night. So if anyone is watching pad it out 1 extra minute. I plan to watch some of it when I get home from work tonight.

I completely forgot about it until I noticed it in the listings a few minutes after midnight. I taped what I could, but haven't watched it yet. Why would they play it 3 times in 1 night, but not rerun it sometime midweek?

According to someone on the tnt forum, the 8pm hour was commercial free, but the reruns were edited to fit commercials. Nice.

I got this whole thing at work to preview. I thought the first installment was pretty boring actually. Like Deke Rivers says, I found it very hard to even stay awake through it. But I do think it got better in the next two.

I was also surprised that they aren't re-airing this one at all during the week. Strange, especially for a cable station.

And what's up with Michael Keaton's performance?

Unfortunately I had to tape the 9pm airing (12am EST) because of some time conflicts with a few other Sunday shows I watch. That sucks that I'm getting the watered down version.

I believe if anyone missed it, you can watch it on TNT's web site.

I thought I was just really tired last night until I read that others had a hard time staying awake too. I'll watch the next two episodes though - the next one looks more exciting. It was OK, but a little hard to follow specifics. I had a general sense of what was going on and trusted that it would come together in the end - it sort of did.

I didn't tune in until about 20 minutes into the show, then bailed after about 40 minutes when they started the Central American segment. I wanted to like it, but it just never grabbed me. (This was for last night's episode, 8/12/2007).
