I guess I'll watch. I began to lose interest as the first season wore on, but I'll give it another chance.
|
I loved the premise of the show and enjoyed the first season. As usual with networks, it just takes them too long to decide to make more episodes. I'll be watching.
|
I'll be watching.
|
Thanks for the reminder. I just caught S1 on DVD and was pleasantly surprised. I'll be checking it out...
|
Watching the Marathon right now...seems like a great show!
|
Gonna watch.
|
I rented the first season on DVD. I liked it. I'll be watching this new season.
|
I'll sure be watching it. It's another small season: only nine episodes.
|
Love this series... reminds me of Xmen

Blair Witch dream sequence :thmbsdwn:
Nina Jarvis (Samantha Ferris) replacing Dennis Ryland (Peter Coyote) as director :thmbsdwn: Tess (Summer Glau) being added to the cast  Overall: good episode  |
I actually preferred Summer Glau with less dialogue, her performance in this opening 2-hour premiere was a little on the irritating side for me.
|
I'm not really sure why I watch this show, because it's not particularly good, but it was definitely cool to see Jeffrey Combs. As for Summer, casting her in this role was awkward and distracting.

It feels like it's gonna take 5 years to actually tell the story. I would've felt better if it was called the 25. It took 2 hours for a 30 second payoff.
So far it suffers mainly from bad acting. Everyone seems to be over acting to try to cover up the fact that nothing is really happening. D |

das I turned it off after an hour because I have a test tomorrow and didn't want to study half asleep because that's what the show was doing. I'll catch the rest Tuesday night when they replay it. |

I wonder when this was shot. they will probably have to progress the timeline much faster than they really want to since it involves kids. I thought Maia grew up much faster than the six months they said passed, but it wasn't so much that it was unbelieveable.
The premiere seemed to have a different feel to it than the first season...not as exciting. It was nice to see "Ambassador Shran" except without the blue skin and wiggly antennae. |

It was nice to see "Ambassador Shran" except without the blue skin and wiggly antennae. I don't know whether to be more surpised at your nitpick over the age progression of a 10 year old girl or the fact that you more identify Jeffrey Combs as Shran than his more recognizable (and frankly better) Weyoun or Brunt. |
now that you've shared your thoughts on other people's thoughts, what are your thoughts of the episode?
only fair to give others a chance to flame you back. BTW "better" is a matter of opinion, is it not? |
Poor Combs. His great career is remembered as an argument between which of his Trek character was better.

I enjoyed it and wow, we got more answers in this two hours then we got in the entire season of Lost. Disliked the whole family on the run thing but enjoyed the episode overall. |
Did NOT expect the "Lost" references here! (the references ARE true, btw....)
I more expected references to X-files with the male and female agents and the three computer geeks in the basement -- of course, the similarities end there. I love this show! |
My wife loves this program, I thinks its OK and usually laugh during it.
After the show last night I bashed my head against the wall for 30 minutes in an effort to activate different parts of my brain that may be dormant. Nothing yet. Sadly, I identified Combs as Shran as well. |
I like this show, but thought the premier was only alright. It seemed too long for the pay-off that we got, but I'll be sticking with it.
