the writing seems really sharp to me. This show really seems to lay it closer to real life them others have.

Rusty's dorm room is definitely too large but it does have the bad ceiling and blank walls. The hazing even seems reasonable and is not trying to be over the top. I was not in a frat but I like to think naked ice melting fits in the "sucks to do" category with out passing in to hazing territory.

they even have really good pop culture reference with nods to Gilmore Girls and America's Next Top Model.

I have high hopes for this show. Any one have any ideas about how it's ratings are doing?

sure comparisons can be drawn. but you can do that with a lot of stuff in this genre. regardless i see it more as a fun show to watch this summer. for me, the characters are just hilarious, in different ways than say animal house, but funny in their own way nonetheless. i'll be watching episode 3 tonight.

So, I'm eagerly awaiting season 2...I'm kinda going through Greek withdrawal...ha ha.

This web series Rush'd is pretty cool. There are some other fans of the show auditioning for a guest spot for next season.

My fav, so far is VanWilder...she's pretty cute...

Greek---"A New Normal"---Season Premiere---ABC Family

It's back for 12 new episodes.

This is technically a continuation of season 1.

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

As a new semester begins, Casey adjusts to being sorority president after Zeta's fall from grace and her split with Evan. Meanwhile, Rusty tries to forget about Jen K., Calvin mulls rejoining the Omegas, and Cappie and Rebecca keep their fling a secret. The Plain White T's perform at an all-Greek carnival.

I'm glad to see this back. It's nice to have a show that strives to be fun but still has some heart.

I've missed Cappie - glad I got to see him on Quarterlife in the interim.

Jen K.!?

Yeah...I think so. She was in the most recent episode, at least!?!

She's gotta stay...she's such a cutie!!

Great to have Cappie back in action, as well.

Hopefully this season, Calvin can fix his "outing" dilemma, also...he's a good dude.

I think it's pretty good for what it is. Doesn't compare to Undeclared imo, but it's still worth a watch, especially since nothing else is on right now.

I think it's a pretty cool show. For a show that's on a family network, I am surprised at some of the topics they deal with. Right now it's finishing up the last 12 episodes of season 1. There are some really cool characters and I think the show doesn't take itself too seriously and is very lighthearted fun. The DVD that just came out recently was 10 episodes and was essentially season 1 Part 1.

Season 2 will most likely premiere in the fall. Honestly I think they should have just kept this a summer series.

Ive now watched 6 eps and the show has developed nicely. I like how it is more realistic than how fraternities are portrayed over the top in movies. This show works even if it isn't that raunchy

The girl who plays Rebecca Logan is just stunning !

ABC Family is playing a marathon of episodes of the second half of season 1 right now, leading into the season finale.

Greek---Season 2 Discussion--Premieres 8/26--Tuesday's on ABC Family

Greek

Anyone excited about Greek's return tonight? I'm glad it's back, but it's going to get lost in the shuffle with all the fall premieres beginning next week.

Right now, season 2 is only 10 episodes, unlike season 1 which got 22. I guess if the ratings are good, there is the possibility for more.

Synopsis for Brothers and Sisters

Spoiler:

The second season opens with the annual Greek Week competition, and Rusty and Calvin strive to find a neutral friendship zone despite their opposing house loyalties. Meanwhile, Casey must decide the consequences of Rebecca's wild spring-break actions, and Rebecca's continued bad behavior doesn't help matters.

Hmmm...never watched this before, but how can I turn down Spencer Grammer in HD now that we finally have it on DirecTV?

Well, the show is more episodic than serialized, so it shouldn't be too hard to follow.

Also, last season ended during spring break, so I assume season 2 is picking up in the spring semester.

I like this show, thankfully they reshow it normally sometime after primetime shows are over. Nightly news is too depressing so this is welcome.

I'd be down for this except I missed the last...6 or 7 episodes of last "season". Why didn't the DVD come out? Odd.

Okay, all of season 1's episodes are posted online at ABC Family's web site. If you want to DVR the season premiere and subsequent episodes and play catch up then this is your best bet.

There was also an all-day marathon on ABC Family today leading up to the season 2 premiere.
