Big Love : "Reunion" 6/25/07
#26
I loved Nikki's Mom when she was explaining how that she was 32 of 56 children and her own grandmother and she was great great aunt to that little girl who was her step-grandmother or something. That was fun. And yes, other than Nikki side-boob I think it was the first real good female nudity in the show and they picked someone very hot. It is really something how layered and complex this show is, but how subtle at the same time. Really one of my favorite shows. Hopefully ratings have been good enough for more seasons.

Adaleen's explanation of her place in the family tree was quite funny, and at the same time very disturbing.
Am I the only one that wants to see a Margene/Sarah/Brynn three-way? Now THAT would be some "Big Love".

This was a great episode and I agree with Chloe Sevigny... I have always found her pretty ugly but there is something about her this season. If I was Bill, I would be trying to get the Margene, Barb, Nikki 3-way going.
Im still not convinced it was Roman who told. Im still thinking Rhonda who just seems to be really into stirring the shit.

Yeah there was a whole scene where he called the people running the contest and told them that they had a Polygamist in the ranks.

Good episode. In my own fairlyland, where things work out, they will buy the video poker stuff, sell off the hardware business, and live out in the open in peace and harmony with the rest of society.

Margene cracks me up. But she is really sweet and lovable, as all the main wives are in their own way. This show is great at juggling all the characters it has.

Probably the best episode of the series thus far. It's a testament to the quality of this show that, as detestable as Nicki was during much of the first season, you can't help but empathize with her now.

Just to echo every one's sentiments: This was a kick-ass episode. All three this season have been good so far. I really didn't see Bill's plan to usurp the EOB and buy the gaming machines himself coming, but that's pretty awesome. I find it interesting that Roman has almost become a good guy, at least compared to Albie. I'm not sure where this season is headed, but I'm looking forward to the ride.
I also liked Margene's standing up to Barb. The fact that she found it disgusting to even think of an inappropriate relationship with Ben was both surprising and entirely in character at the same time.

I think Albie becoming more sympathetic as a character as well. Roman still seems like the tyrant trying to control those to get what he needs. I still find Albie to be a douche but he isn't as a big as douche as last year.

We started watching this show "On Demand" this weekend, and we are hooked. I do have a few questions:
How many episodes in season 1?
How many so far in season 2?
We started watching around episode 11, I think, but we definitely did see Roman make the call to the pageant. I wish they would have had all the episodes from the beginning available.
This show reminds me a lot of Six Feet Under which, IMO, is the high water mark for HBO and cable-original programming in general.
Margene is HOT! She has an absolutely amazing smile.
