According to Aint It Cool News, they're actually happy with the numbers because they were a 37% increase over when the show "Cane" was in that time slot.

Of course, "Cane" got pretty shitty numbers (against tougher competition)... What kind of numbers will we see when "Law & Order: SVU" comes back? What about when "Boston Legal" gets a better lead in?

"Lost" is down 9.56% from last week, but was up by 119% from the repeat lead-in.

Here are Lost's numbers thus far:
01/31 - 16.07m
02/07 - 15.06m (-6.29%)
02/14 - 13.62m (-9.56%)

Ruh roh. Lost losing audience against virtually no competition is not a good sign.

It'll only get worse with "American Idol" coming and then "CSI" coming back in April... I think it'll average between 11-13m from here on. What I'm interested in seeing is how the 18-49 demo does against "AI".

That's odd, the show has been great. Oh well.

It was Valentines day. I was the only person of my group that usually watches Lost that watched last night because of it.

That's true... Still, I expect better against this kind of competition (overall).

I kind of anticipated it, people didn't stop watching the show in season 2 and 3 because other stuff was on, they stopped watching it because they got fed up with it. And it is kind of a confusing show for people that just watch an episode or two, if not downright boring since they have nothing invested in what is going on. Serials are generally a tough sell unless they have smaller resolving arcs. Interested to see if it makes gains next week when theres no "I NEED YOUR ATTENTION NOW! brought to you by Hallmark" interruption.

CSI might have an effect on it, but I doubt Idol's result show would.

IDK. "CSI" will effect it with ratings but the results show will have an effect on the demo. When "CSI" returns, will it be going up against "Idol" or will that be done by April (or at least not having a Thursday show)?

Great numbers by Knight Rider!! I wonder if it gets ordered to series, which I fully expect now, if the 9pm or 10pm timeslot on Sunday's would work for it? Probably not 9pm due to Desperate Housewives.

Yeah, I think 9pm on Sundays would be best. If Fridays weren't so bad, going on before "Las Vegas" would fit nicely I think.

As much as I hate what they did with Dexter, bravo for getting hella good ratings.

I think it would fit nicely with Chuck and Heroes on Mondays, assuming those shows stay there come fall.

Prison Break and Terminator are still pretty consistent with their overall viewership, although I noticed that Terminator is slightly down. I believe both will most likely get renewed due to their solid 18-49 numbers.

Wait till you see what kind of numbers it'll get when it reruns (I think tomorrow). If it's anything like last season, it'll actually get more than 1.77m, lol.

Yeah, last time they showed the replay after America's Next Top Model and it beat the original airing. Which made me wonder why they didn't just put the initial airing after Top Model in first place.

It's the CW. Since when has logic ever come into play?
