Final Spoiler about "The Nine" Remember that show?
Just to satisfy anyone's curiosity about this show, today my colleague at work ran into one of the actors from the show here in Los Angeles. It was the bank robber who was visited by the bank manager's daughter in jail. Anyways he asked him what the hell was the big secret inside the bank during that 52 hour standoff that never got resolved.
Anyways, Chi McBride (The Bank Manager) was the inside man behind the whole robbery. It would have gotten resolved had the show filmed 22 episodes....Oh well, that's all I know.

They didn't get far enough for it to mean much to me, and I remember a good bit about the show. It does sort of explain what was up with him at the end of the siege, though.

That resolution does not surprise me. I was thinking that it was probably either the daughter, the girl who's sister died or Chi. But I stopped caring since the show stopped moving forward.

Well, that is kinda interesting.
I really liked that show and was wondering where it was going to go. Now I just wonder where 24 would have gone had "The Nin9" not gotten cancelled. And poor Tim Daly, cancelled from The Nine and whacked on The Sopranos in the same season. This guy just puts out one good show after another and they all get canned -- meanwhile his signature POS, Wings ran for what, a decade?

I really enjoyed the pilot. The 2nd episode wasn't really good. I watched the 3rd episode which was awful and I called it quits. The show moved too slowly.

I liked the show. But they never made it clear if the season was going to progress with what happened at the robbery or stick to just the characters. And I'm assuming if you havent seen the pilot there was no way to attract no viewers as the episodes were not really stand-alone material. That was probably only a tiny spoiler and many more things were going to be revealed but scripts never got going. Did the show have any other real point besides what happens to these people after a holdup? Seemed like too weak of a premise to last a full season.
Now if one of the people at the bank ened up being revealed as a
CAVEMAN, now we've got something there.

Were the rest of the eps ever available online? I would've liked to see 'em...

No, they shot 13 episodes, but Hank Steinberg needed 22 episodes to complete the story arc. Thus, the remaining episodes will never see the light of day.
