I'm thinking Mohinder will have to find a way to neutralize Molly's power for her to live.

Last week Mr. Bennet said they were headed to New York to destroy the "Walker Tracking System". Minutes later in the episode Mohinder is introduced to Molly Walker who can, when healed, tell where anyone in the world is just by thinking about them. 2+2=4.

Plus we mentioned it like 4 fucking times in last weeks thread

Comic nerd check -- how many of you caught that the sword repairman's name was Mr. Claremont (after Chris Claremont, longtime writer of the X-Men)?

When Missy brought in the comics for Micah, my brain made a nearly audible *click* and I said to my wife "he's going to fix the election". I can't believe I didn't think of that sooner.

Great episode, as usual. This show builds anticipation like all get out. I can't wait to see the showdown between Peter and Sylar.

magiccmom 05-14-07 11:00 PM

Can anyone think of a nemisis more bad ass than Sylar? Dont know how they can top this season...but I cant wait to find out.

Agreed, Sylar will be pretty hard to top.

B.A. 05-14-07 11:11 PM

I don't know - for some reason I was kind of bored w/ this ep - nothing that unexpected happened, except for Lindermann going down so easily.

Pretty good episode. Happy to see Eric Roberts get blown away. I hope they don't kill off Sylar he's one of the best characters on the show.

Jadzia 05-14-07 11:55 PM

So does anyone want any Eric Roberts to take home in a doggy bag?

Yeah, "4 fucking times" out of 117 posts. I hope your hand enjoys all the back-patting it's doing. I didn't catch it until I watched the episode a second time, so don't listen to the haters. Just let them read their precious message boards.

Great episode though.

I am calling it now, there is no way in hell you will be able to top Sylar. He kicks way too much ass. Expectations are high for next season, VERY high, Tim Kring better be on his shit, because people will be expecting BIG BIG things. Can't wait for the HD DVD release. A def cop.

I like how they hinted that hot Candice is not really herself, um in her true form, um ya whatever, you get my point.

Missy Peregrym

Great set up episode. When Sylar turned the police truck over sooo reminded me of X-MEN The Last Stand when Magneto fucked that police car up. Good shit! Sylar is way cooler though.

I hope Linderman isn't dead.

Does anybody else think now that Linderman is "dead" his ability to heal others dies with him? Like when Nathan said to his wife in the wheelchair, when it's time they will make the announcement that she can walk, maybe when that announcement comes, she won't be able to walk because Linderman is dead and his affect on her wears off?? Just a thought.

The little girl that plays Molly is cute as hell, I hope they keep her around, I like her.

Nice to see Clea Duvall, and that the show stayed consistant with that character, they could have easily just had some random police/FBI person running the show. Those small touches make the difference IMO.

Last but not least, I love you Missy, will you marry me? :flowers: :flowers:

Dash 05-15-07 12:21 AM

after seeing the preview, a thought occured to me. Peter will blow up to try and kill sylar.

Rogue588 05-15-07 12:31 AM

Loved the Claremont shoutout (fully deserving, unlike the Quesada one). Really surprised Linderman was taken out. Also surprised that Roberts caught 2 (probably) in the head.

However, I have to say that i'm not surprised and most disappointed that they killed Ted. I realize he served his purpose once Pete absorbed his power (and learned to control it rather quickly, I must say), I guess I was just hoping for a "hero" that didn't look like they stepped off the cover of Maxim, GQ or put whipped cream over their private parts.

Bronkster 05-15-07 12:34 AM

Great episode but I almost shit myself over the way that kid was handling that issue of Silver Surfer #1 :grunt:

Tell you what, I wanted to come out and blow this statement up but the only villain I can think of off the top of my head who was more bad ass was Darth Vader. That's pretty fuckin' good company.

This was another great ep IMO.

The Hiro/Sulu training scene was AWESOME. I was amped the way I was when Neo 1st went superspeed against Morpheus (The Matrix), and I thought that was the best scene of that movie.

Great scene when HRG took out Thomson. But wouldn't Parkman be able to hear Suresh's thoughts when hiding and waiting to crack him over the head?

Sylar flipping the FBI truck and then slicing Ted's skull was bad-ass as well.

Even Nikki/Jessica/DL was tolerable this week. 1 problem with that though. Why not send the guy who can walk through walls to look for Micah, and let the chick who can tear humans apart with her bare hands stay and guard Linderman??? On top of that Jessica reverting back to Nikki just in time for Lindy to pull his pistol was disgusting.

The overall greatness of the show and the ep greatly outweigh the little crap I mentioned IMO. Too bad the final eps of the series of The Sopranos aren't a quarter as good as this series' final eps of the season.

I can't wait for the finale but damn I'm gonna miss this little bitch when she's gone for the summer...

MrX 05-15-07 12:43 AM

Loved the last scene with Stlar on the roof testing out his new power.

peon73 05-15-07 01:22 AM

didn't someone call it a couple threads ago that micah would fix the election? i remember reading that and they were spot-on. awesome episode tonight. and i've read on latimes that nbc is picking up a semi-spinoff of heroes?

"The "Heroes" order includes a half dozen episodes for a spinoff called "Heroes: Origins," in which a new character will be introduced every week and one will be voted onto the regular series by viewers."

Raul3 05-15-07 01:24 AM

The episode was good I really enjoyed it. But I was expecting more. I don't know, I was expecting the last 2 episodes to be amazing. It seems that the last one will be the one that we'll remember for years. I expecto a *LOT* of thins to happen next Monday. They have to do a lot of things, a lot of fights, and then they have to "start" the story for next season.

raven56706 05-15-07 06:56 AM

this episode was great....

i loved the speech from nathan and all the cut back scenes of all the heroes...

counting the minutes for next weeks episode

pinata242 05-15-07 08:10 AM

I was hoping to hear what Mr. Nakamura's power actually is. I was confused by Linderman saying that Pa Patrelli was like them - I thought the 6-part comic miniseries made it abundantly clear that he wasn't.

Also - I was sort of hoping that Hiro would emerge from his training session with no time having elapsed. Like he and dad were in there for weeks or months in some sort of temporal displacement. Stupid, reckless Ando.

raven56706 05-15-07 08:23 AM

poor eric roberts.... he finally lands on a great series only to be killed off... rotfl

he has no luck

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he just get finished fixing her so her power would work? :hscratch:

Rather enjoyed the last scene with Sylar. Made me think of Millennium's "522666". ;)
