Like many others, didn't see that coming...and also like many others, am disappointed with how it played out.
All in all, I liked the episode though. Curious to see what, if anything, will come of Tony's new winning streak.

I thought the episode was brilliant.
It's one thing I love about Sopranos. People don't need to die in spectacular fashions. It just happens. This shit came out of nowhere--brilliant. I love the episode description at the beginning of this thread. Kinda amusing now that you know what the episode was really about.
Season 6 part 2 destroys season 6 part 1. I think it's great stuff.

Wow. Tony's dream notwithstanding, that whole crash blindsided me.
Not that I think it, but even though the circumstances surrounding Chris' demise might've seemed like a bullshit copout, life can sometimes be random like that.
I'd have to agree with this. Not that I saw him as a sympathetic character before, but i'd have no problem with him dying in three weeks.
And, yes, Sarah is VERY hot. I first noticed her on Alias and could never figure out why Will had a hard-on for Sydney when Sarah's character practically worshipped the ground he walked on.
And another agreement that AJ's finally got a true storyline and I find myself hoping he frees himself from those fucking punks.

Oh, and while I wasn't necessarily mourning Chris, when Paulie was reflecting on how he treated him gave me a slight lump in my throat. Well, it was either that or the pistachios.
Also, when it was announced that Paulie's mom died coming back from "Jersey Boys", for some reason I chuckled.

If people still bitch after this episode, they're just impossible to please. I'd rank it up there as one of the best since "Long Term Parking." Tony as such a cold hearted prick pisses me off, but it makes for good TV. Tony's behavior in Vegas was a nice twist.

Looks like AJ ain't cut out for mob life after all.
I can't blame Tony for taking the opportunity to off Christopher given the circumstances (drug use, high probability of Feds flipping him, etc).
Sarah Shahi in those cut-offs? Yowza.

At first I thought Tony killing Chris was just his way of helping out his friend. I mean, it really looked like Chris was a goner anyway so I thought it looked like Tony was easing his pain, a euthanasia move. But, I'm thinking I was just trying too hard to see the good in Tony... Great episode. Makes me want to go back to Caesars' Palace.

Personally, I dont hate TOny for what he did. What made him go over the edge (he as about to call 911 to help Chris) was seeing the baby seat mangled.....CHris was using again and beforelong it could have been the baby in that seat.....While I dont always agree with a whacking I dont have a problem (no feelings either way) with this one....It was bound to happen after Chris started using again he becasme too much of a liabilty....

The way Tony figures it, he's saving that baby.
Anyway, great episode. Did NOT see that coming.

However, it is fucking criminal that she did a cowgirl scene with a goddamn t-shirt on.
