Not the least bit interested. There's the singing song....check. There's the dancing show...check. Now, there is the band show...check. Hope it tanks.

Sigh, why cant we get more adventure shows with folks competing/bonding in great locals with a bit of national geographic through in? Has to be many different ways then just Amazing Race's approach, and Road Rules has turned into fear factor I'm TV whore long time ago.

It seems that they might be skipping the audition round, since they're asking bands to submit tapes. But maybe they'll pick people to audition out of those submissions, so they can do a "look at how awful some of these bands are" show before the competition.

I just can't wait until they have Led Zeppelin week and one band gets to play 45 seconds of Stairway to Heaven for the audience.

Yes, for the reason I stated earlier. No really original idea. I was thinking they were just taking components of their predecessor, Star Search. I won't be surprised if they start a show for actors which SS did as well on their show.

I personally think there are already enough talent shows. Simon's goofy America's Got Talent returns this summer, Nigel's So you think you can dance also returns and then this will air in the fall? A little too much IMO. I think more shows like these takes away timeslots from quality scripted programs which has some serious $$$$ going in it.

Yeah, but wishing a show you've never seen before to tank seems odd. I know this may be hard for you to believe.... but.. what if... it's a good show? I mean.. one that you'd actually enjoy?

Well, personally, I have no interest in the concept. And to top it off, will there be 3 judges too? We already know America decides. Sounds all too familiar...

I like the idea but I just cant see it working.

Idol auditions 100k people to get to the "cream of the crop" and even then, the top 24 are never too deep in terms of talent.

Idol only needs people who sing. They may never have even sang in front of anyone before.

This show is going to need a whole band, and lots of them.

It is easy finding someone who sings well but it is not easy to find a band of similar talent.

My 15 year hunt for a drummer is winding down.
