Best "Scrubs" guest star?

It's no secret I love "Scrubs" !!!! Going through the series on DVD for the 2nd time in 6 months, leading up to the much anticipated Season 5 release on May 22nd.

Well, I just saw Colin Farrell's episode (S4) last night and damn if he isn't really funny. He fits perfectly into the "Scrubs" mold. And he is probably the biggest star they got and he is so reclusive, so to do a sitcom like "Scrubs" (which is no darling in the ratings wars) makes me enjoy him even more.

There have been some really great guest appearances, some are genuine and can watch over and over (Brendan Fraser, especially "My Screw-Up" (S3)) and some can be downright grating (Tom Cavanagh, though I really like him).

So who do you think was the best guest star?

Some others not mentioned: Ricky Schroeder, Nicole Sullivan, Michael Learned, Freddy Rodriguez, Julianna Margulies, among a few others...

I voted for Heather Graham because I think the best she's ever been (clothed) has been on 'Scrubs'. Like you said with Colin, I think she fit into the mindset of the show really well.

Heather Locklear was pretty damn funny, too.

They were and I liked John Ritter's 2 eps. and Scott Foley a lot...it was a tough decision.

Heather Graham.

I don't get the "Spin City" category. Why not just say "blondes"? It'd be just as arbitrary.

No love for TCW?

I'd go for Amy Smart.

Brendan Frazier is a given so I voted for Mandy Moore. She was a perfect fit with the cast and the best girl JD had during the whole shows run. They had great chemistry. Probably had something to do with Zach and Mandy dating in real life.

Brendan Fraser for sure. It's no contest. However, I find that people that are usually foul guest star on Scrubs and suddenly they seem ok to me. Heather Graham. Tara Reid. Colin Farrel. They were all great on the show.

Although the Brenden Fraser story arch was my favorite, I think it might be more for the writing and regular cast than for Fraser himself (I think many other actors could have filled the role).

So I went with "Other" and choose: Colin Hay

Pretty much feel the same way, and should have voted other/ Colin Hay, but went with Fraser.

Brendan Fraser definitely, but the runner up would be that guy from the 80's band that played the guitar through the whole episode. I feel stupid for not remembering his name, but the song he played made that episode one of the ones that the whole was greater than the sum of the parts.

Another HUGE Scrubs fan and i can't get enough of this show. Smart, Funny & all around Cult classic.
I picked up Seasons 1-4 between Jan.-feb. & I am hooked, season 5 comes out May.22! can't wait.
Anyway another vote for Brendan Fraser. Him and Cox were great together and I know Scrubs is more well known for its comedy but when we found out that Cox was at his funeral that was Drama at its finest.

Runner up would most Def. be Colin Hay from Men at Work, loved that episode!

Sorry to go off-Topic and i have said this before but Scrubs can mix comedy & Drama unlike any other show on TV. Brilliant writing and the best ensemble cast since Newsradio.

I cant vote on this....theres no one on that list I didnt love on Scrubs. Hell, I hate Tara Reid in pretty much everything she does, and still loved her on Scrubs.

Gotta jump on the bandwagon and go with Brendan Fraser. His story was the high point in what has been an unbelievably great series.

What? No love for Michael J. Fox?!?!

Brendan Fraser really was the best - I just loved his comedic sensibilities "TOUCH MY NAIL! TOUCH IT!!!" "Oooooooooo, me so cranky!"

Good question.

Mandy Moore is by far my favorite girlfriend. I was surprised at how damn cute she'd gotten. I have to vote for Colin Farrell however. He's a freakin' movie star, and was absolutely great. Having become aquainted with Srubs through syndication, I remember doing a literal double take when he appeared on the screen.
