American Idol -- Top 6 "Tonight's Theme: Songs by Bon Jovi" -- 05/01/07
The Top 6 (Melinda Doolittle, LaKisha Jones, Blake Lewis, Chris Richardson, Jordin Sparks and Phil Stacey) compete head-to-head again on Tuesday, May 1 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed). Rock star Jon Bon Jovi will mentor the contestants as they prepare to sing songs by his legendary band.
Tune in the following night to see a live performance by multi-Platinum Bon Jovi and find out who receives enough votes to stay in the competition and who must go home. The AMERICAN IDOL producers have determined that the voting totals from last week and this week will be combined, and the "bottom 2" will be sent home on the live results show Wednesday, May 2 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. This week's voting window will be extended from two to four hours.

From what I read at EW online, they are covering rock songs. It doesn't have to be a Bon Jovi song.
Here's a link for the suggestions they gave:

Rumors that Sanjaya has gotten a agent from CAA, this agent's other clients include, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Tony Bennett, the Beckhams, Robbie Williams.

They can make up for this and last week by doing a Songs of Bjork. Why? Because at least it'd be interesting.

So, how many artists/bands are in Bon Jovi's league, meaning they are smart and talented enough to have written all their own music and sold 100 millions albums? This guy has gotta be hella-rich since he gets the song royalties as well. Has Shania Twain sold 100 million yet?

Almost forgot that they are carrying over the votes from last week. How annoying will it be tommorow when they keep going on about how "over 100 million votes were cast for tonights outcome."
