Mark Harmon feuding with NCIS creator Don Bellisario

From reading this article it sounds like there is big trouble on the NCIS set and Harmon may end up quitting the show if this situation doesn't get fixed.

I agree with the "mole"'s take on the situation. Harmon's never seemed like a high maintenance type, more like a trouper, a strong professional not prone to drama on the set. Things must be really shitty for him to complain and threaten walking.

I hope they work this out. I think this show could survive without Harmon, but that doesn't mean it should. Besides, he has been working for a long time and has never been complained about. I tend to side with him.

Unfortunate to hear this. I don't think the show could survive without him. Cast chemistry is a big key to NCIS's success and he is the anchor for those around him.

To make a long story short, Bellisario is being a dick and micro-managing this show and it's pissing off Harmon since he busts his ass for 16 hours a day without complaining.

Supposedly Bellasario is very unorganized and everything is very hectic with lots of last minute script changes. Harmon is supposedly working 16 hour days because of this and it is affecting his family life too much.

Wow, wasn't Don doing the same stuff with Battlestar Galactica back in '78? Yikes, I guess some things don't change.

Sounds like the same issues Jimmy Smits had with NYPD:Blue.

Hmm. I seem to recall a different take during his St. Elsewhere days. Wasn't he acting all "I'm gonna have a movie career" so they gave Bobby Caldwell HIV to write him off permanently?

rf, you could certainly be right. As per usual I'm just running off my own biases. I have no dictionary facts to back me up.

Ironically, that was the movie he left St. Elsewhere to DO! Now I'd have seriously thought he was being smart if The Presidio was going to be his first feature release...

the last minute script changes are effecting the quality of the show, and not in a good way.
Seasons 1-3 were great but this season seems off its usual level of quality.
I hope Mark Harmon doesn't walk because this show will be finished if it does. Sure the other characters are good but this show def. needs a lead.
Hey since Raines is sadly petty much cancelled this could be Jeff Goldblum's chance.

Hmm, I'm young and this is the only 'procedural' type show I like. It's fun and doesn't take itself too seriously.
