Jericho - 4/18/07

Love Hawkins. They should just turn this into a show about him and Jake, Hawkins could be like Jack Bauer.

Were we supposed to be "siding" with the "Olsen Twins" () during their argument with Gray? It almost seemed that way...but man do I want those 2 brats dead.

I watched this show tonight. I don't know why it's still on my TiVo.... I can watch an espisode in 10 minutes. As soon as I see Mimi, that chick from the bar, or generally any female character, I fast forward. Those story lines suck.

Yeah they really need a female character that is actually involved in the Hawkins angle. I liked the brunette teacher character, it seemed like they could have paired her up with Jake more. Hopefully she comes back.

Oooh, I wonder what Hawkins has planned. Maybe he's going to go get his daughter to save the day again.

This show simply doesn't know what it wants to be. It seems to be a better action show than a drama, yet the 8pm time slot makes it too gentle for the subject matter. The scripts really need to be polished and after nearly a full season, it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

Jericho's salvation is NBC's horrible network ratings.

Agreed. Hawkins could be Jack Bauer's replacement at CTU.

Pretty enjoyable episode.

I hope we learn more about what happened to the teacher beyond the brief mention of an offscreen death we got in this episode.

Where did they find all those mortar shells? Or is it some sort of metal tooling factory and they designed them from scratch?

After those 2 kids found the tank in the barn, did we ever hear anything about it again?

I think they stated that they are manufacturing the mortar shells. That's what the secret area of the factory is for.

As far as finding the tank, the following scene showed the town in an uproar after finding out the military wasn't coming back with the supplies they promised, so it was just a way to show that everyone found out the Marines were fake.

Honestly, I don't know what show the producers were watching; she was the only female character I liked. Given how little screentime she had in her last few episodes before they dispatched her you have to figure she's gone for good.

I wonder if we'll see Jonah again? IIRC, he was sent packing before winter even. Probably just written out of the show...but maybe we'll see him come back and help save the day.

Next week should be an interesting episode the way they were setting it up. I agree with most of the posters, though, Hawkins is really the main reason to watch this show. The rest is kinda blah.

In addition to Bauer, Hawkins reminds me of Schofield on Prison Break, with Jake being Burrows - always jumping to conclusions and getting himself in trouble.

Yeah, it should be a Hawkins/Jake show.

This show is so up and down for me. This weeks I thought was very good. I think they killed off the teacher and got rid of the blonds boyfriend so that they can do the safe thing and get her and Jake together. I would have rather seen him with the teacher. The only real character that drag for me now is the mother.

As I was watching last night's episode, I was thinking that they ought to turn it into a buddy show with Jake and Hawkins traveling the country. I can't honestly think of any characters I'd miss.

I kind of like George Hearst (Johnston), but that's about it.

I recently read that Jericho is at risk of being canceled. Wan't this show doing really well before their hiatus?

Not really, no. It just did worse after the hiatus.

Good episode. I'm not sure if i missed an episode or just forgot somehow, but how did April die? I don't recall that for some reason. Also, which episode was it?

There were problems with the pregnancy, she and the baby died during the operation. It was maybe 3 episodes ago.
