Sleeper Cell (No Spoilers Please)

Hey im looking to get some feedback on the show Sleeper Cell.. ive seen season 1 and 2 on shelves recently and it has caught my eye.

So far the shows i really enjoy have been 24, LOST, Friends, Greys Anatomy Prison Break, and Entourage.. by just that alone does anyone think i would like sleeper cell?

Thanks

It's not really like any of those shows but it is good. I don't think it has much replay value so I think it's worth a rental.

I like all the shows you listed as your favorites, but those (except maybe 24) don't really compare to Sleeper Cell. Liking those doesn't mean you will like Cell but, it is a great show. Both seasons are great. #1 is my favorite because I felt we got to know the characters of the Cell a lot better. But season two, with a uniquely different feel, was also very good. Without saying anything, their two finales are pretty damn good.

Like early seasons of 24, before it became cliched and they started killing off everyone, there are some crazy holy shit moments that literally took my breath away and left me speechless.

I'm not sure if you are talking about buying them...but rent them because they are most definately worth watching.

Sleeper Cell is a GREAT show, but its not like any of the shows you have mentioned as the others have said. it is a dark and gritty show and it shows more "realistic" happenings rather then the "sugar coated" shows on the networks. If you liked movies like The Siege, HBO's Hamburg Cell, ect then you will like this show. It shows a different perspective on the terrorist POV. While many people say it is sympathetic to them, I have always believe you need to know where your enemies are coming form and thinking like in order to beat them. This show tries to do that. I for one would def recommend the Rental as after you watch them I am not sure if you would watch them again. If you have on demand you might want to check on there as well, BUT I don't recommend skipping seasons as things i season 2 will spoil season 1. It is a linear show and not something I would recommend just jumping into mid way through start from the beginning or not at all.

Don't worry about hurrying to do it before the next season starts, though. Oded Fehr stated that the show is over.

It was a great show. Dig in and enjoy. I watched the 1st season over a period of 3-4 days.

Well technically it was also "over" after the first season before Showtime decided to bring it back.
