They screwed up big time when they spilt the season. I used to watch it before but when it came back I have not seen one. I may catch up with DVD someday but I lost interest with it and deleted my season pass on TiVO.

That's too bad. IMO, the post-break episodes have been quite a bit better than the first part of the season. A little less small town family drama and a little more actual storyline.

Last night's episode was an interesting dichotomy...interesting stuff with Hawkins and Jake intermixed with cringe worthy stuff from everyone else.

One thing that irks me though...why get rid of the teacher in order to turn one of the other characters into a teacher? I actually liked the first teacher.

Yep. He was incredible on The Agency. Too bad that got cancelled.

I've got the last 4 on my DVR. For me, it's a show that I'll watch when I get around to it. Sort of like CSI: Miami.

I still watch and would rather watch it than 24 (which I am just recording with the idea that I may have some down time). It may have a little more appeal to those of us in small towns. And just like my town, there is one black family that we are all suspicious of.

Just kidding.

But I do enjoy it.

I've been watching and it was worth slugging through those earlier episodes because it's gotten much better since the break.

There are more episodes stacked on the Tivo than we have watched. Hoping to have some time soon to watch them.

It came back really strong from the break and I think it's been getting better since. Last night was one of the best so far.

8.25 million ones are watching Jericho. Doesn't look good considering it's CBS, they're probably throwing a hissy fit.

Maybe Fox will take it over, that way when the aliens invade, they can do a cross over between Jericoh and Prison Break.

strong agreement, i was going to bail but the post break episodes have been like a totally different show. Less melodrama and more stuff about the nukes/Hawkins.

I'm developing a bad feeling that there's no cohesive long term plot, just making it up as they go along

So? This doesn't strike me as the type of show that really needs to map out where they're heading. I have no problem with them making things up as they go along as long as I continue to find it entertaining.

I am enjoying it now that I have caught up. I also agree that the episodes after the break are much better. Hopefully it won't get canceled like everything else I like......

I agree that splitting the season like they did probably did way more harm than good especially because the show got off to a pretty weak start. Lack of good shows kept me watching this and I'm glad I did. I think the show is strong now, hopefully the writing will continue to improve.

Right there with you. That hiatus just killed the show for me. To top it off, there were a couple of weeks when my DVR went haywire and didn't record it. So, I'm faced with the decision of either looking for those eps from other sources, watch the small streaming versions on the CBS site (my 46" TV I also use as a computer monitor just swallows those streaming eps), just forget about watching the eps and tread ahead or just give up on the show completely. I'm actually not sure what I want to do, which just shows that I probably am not all that interested in this show to begin with.

except that it usually leads to big plot holes in a show like this that depends a good deal on an ongoing story

I have a feeling that this show will be this years Invasion. it will lead up to something really big and then get cancelled so we'll never find out what happens next.

I honestly didn't expect such a large response. I think most will agree the break killed any steam it had. On demand also got a little more interested I was more of I'll watch it if I'm home attitude, but I've seen them all and I am drawn in. I like this kind of stuff. The only legit complaint is that characters disapear for awhile with little mention, but with such a large cast I guess it's tough.

I watch it and enjoy most of it. Any of the sappy stuff is really poorly done...Hawkins and Jake are interesting.

Sadly, they are really the only two interesting parts of the show. Maybe if it gets renewed, let them go off and try to investigate stuff together. Get them out of the town.

Thought this last week's episode was pretty damn good. Gave lots of information as to who may have attacked the country and how the bombs where obtained.

The first half of the season was fun because the show was so terrible. The second half has been surprisingly good.

Hadn't heard about the ratings slip, but it's not surprising considering the huge hiatus.
