Lest anyone think i'm making it up...I don't actively seek out spoilers for Lost like Mssrs Hardercore & DVD Josh, but I happened across it while reading this week's Ask Ausiello.

Speaking of Ausiello, here's the non-spoilerish stuff he had to say about tonight:

"Before we get to the spoilers, I feel it's my responsibility to tell you that this is easily the best Lost episode of the season. Bar none. You want answers? This one's got 'em in spades. "

I love the hype train. Can't fucking wait.

As for that quote,
Spoiler:
there is a charlie-centric ep later this year
so I doubt anything major happens tonight.

Ausi says that just about every week.

I definitely wouldn't rank it as the best episode of the season, but there were a few questions answered, and some holes filled in. Pretty good episode overall.

And BTW, another fantastic ending.

Spoiler:
Looks like Juliet is still working for the Others, and is only in the camp for Sun

I know, my thinking on it was more along the lines of,
Spoiler:
maybe we learn something tonight that resolves Desmond's prediction of his upcoming demise and therefore his episode later this season may not include his death.

Its funny, the directing quality of this show varies so radically episode to episode (and noticeable right off the bat). I know theres different directors on each ep, but you'd figure the producers would have hand in trying to keep it more consistent.

Matrix flashback.

Spoiler:

So how did she know Sawyer killed that guy before getting on the plane? The conversation outside the homes tells us they didn't expect the crash, and the flame station conversation sounded like they didn't have any background info on the passengers. Ben had the Russian do background searches. I wonder if the police off the island have figured out Sawyer killed him?

Thought it was a pretty good episode. I love that this show is filmed in Hawaii. It gives it a big budget movie feel. Some of the shots when she got out of the sub were great. The preview looked good too.

Think we will ever see Walt and Micheal again? I miss seeing Micheal.

You're going to spoilerize speculation but not spoilerize spoilers?

First time in a long time they've actually made The Others interesting.

Of course it will have us talking through the summer. We'll be like, "Remember that revelation about Jack in The Brig? They never did explain that!"

Yep, good episode, and Elizabeth Mitchell was fantastic.

The "Children of Men" angle was alluded to from Juliet's Fertility expertise, but who knew how extensive the problem would be on an island with curative powers for those on it. So what's the angle here, even if we could eradicate cancer, it would be the death of the human race by virtue of the cure (creating a system that attacks any "foreign" mass/growth)?

This was an answer-ific episode! We still don't know why they took the children though...I guess it has something to do with research.

She is still one of my favorite characters on the show. As Patman said - Elizabeth Mitchell is top-notch in this role.

I really, really, really can't stand Jack anymore. He's entering Locke territory.

Implant? I still enjoy "Lost," but come on!

They told Juliette that she will "see things she could only dream of..." or somesuch.

Has she seen these things yet? What are they?

At least the situation is getting interesting. No more months of "stay in the cage" and "please help Ben."
