I just started watching this show and I'm loving every minute of it, so I hope NBC gives it a 2nd season.

Any word of what will take FNL's timeslot for the last 7 weeks of the season? Cause I think NBC would be wise to use the time to run off Studio 60. See if the early timeslot and change of night can have any effect on the ratings.

Smash's face after Buddy killed with his Saracen joke was hilarious Good to see him redeem himself at the end

Loved Coach talking about Julie slamming the door then doing the same thing after his fight with Mrs. Coach.

I'm just trying to figure out how they get 'TMU' out of Texas State? Well that, and what would possess Riggins to make that 'joke' at the Roast.

Yeah...I didn't get where the Riggins line came from either.

Both Mrs. Coach and Landry both had some powerful words in tonight's episode.

Landry had me almost choking up for him when he was making his case for Tyra to dump Riggins.

Riggins's roasting of the QB banging the coach's daughter was just so bad.

Buddy's joke would have been better had he had Matt text messaging the plays, not emailing them.

That blonde girl is totally Street's kryptonite. Lyla has to really be near suicidal after finding out her family is being torn apart, and then finding Street and blondie hanging out in the car.

Coach and Mrs. Coach did have several excellent scenes in this episode.

I was totally feelin for Landy in this ep

and if NBC does not pick up this show for another season, than I refuse to watch any new shows they ever put out until I find out if they're stickin with em for the long haul or not because it would be utterly ridiculous to cancel this show......on another note, can't wait to buy this season on hd-dvd

Riggins' joke was perfectly in character for him. I've been laughing to myself whenever I think about it.

If Mrs. Coach ever told me to "come to bed with her", I'd worry about tripping over the pants around my ankles and falling on my boner as I ran after her.

I'd like "Go for 2!" with Mrs. Coach.

Riggins joke had me rolling on the floor it was sooo bad.

That Lance kid laying out on the line for Tyra like that was great. I'm hoping he ends up with her.

I was about to ask who's real life stadium TMU was using. Was it really Texas State (...Coach is going to be an Armadillos!)?

Liked seeing Street and Coach ganging up on Saracin. Glad he's going to be a coach....considering he should still be taking classes in high school!? Did he get his GED already?

Yeah - that seemed a little strange. Wouldn't being a HS coach require having earned a HS diploma (or GED)?

Fantastic scene with Landy and Tyra at the Roast. Her eyes were really expressive.

I like what they are doing with these two.

Please one more season!

Would another season mean an additional storyline of coach at the new school, or just follow the panthers and their new coach?

I sort of had a feeling Mrs. Coach wouldn't go for Mr. Coach's sweet talk at the end...then she brought the hammer. Nicely done.

I bet the season finale has him leaving for Austin as the family stays behind, with some sort of heavy drama along with more Explosions in the Sky score going on.

Yea, that stadium is actually in my hometown of San Marcos, TX. I heard they were here a few weeks ago filming, but unfortunately I didn't know till they were gone. A friend of mine delivered like 200 pizzas to their crew. I was surprised they left the Texas State logo on the field.

I really don't see how Coach Taylor can take the job and actually leave. If he does, then Dillon will hire a new coach too, and it isn't like he could just decide to quit and come back to coach the Panthers. If he is back in Dillon but not coaching the Panthers, what the hell is the point of his character? Will he go work some desk job?

That is why I say there is no way he actually leaves in the end.
